Will be done with this week’s classwork tomorrow when I submit it, then have the rest of the week to start next week’s stuff. I’m going to PAX Unplugged, so I need to have the work done early.
I missed volunteering last week; I had a headache and my stomach felt funny, so I decided discretion was the better part of valor (turned out to be nothing), especially with heavy rain. People round here don’t know how to drive in rain.
This week when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see what got done in my absence. It wasn’t exactly perfect, but for what I’m trying to have the kids do it was really good for a first-time thing for them (game design document).
Not as much physical activity because I’ve been kind of bad about that. Lots of reading, not a lot of reading on a device that’s portable.
Started reading the foreword to Jung’s Liber Novus, but I didn’t have a whole lot of time so it’s just been more or less a refresher on Jung’s life and work for me without an opportunity to delve into the text itself.
Did a poem and a short story (~1000 words) today. I had the idea-image “towers attract dragons” during my morning walk, and that was the inspiration for the poem. Short story was inspired by Norma Jean’s “Reaction”, which I was listening to in the shower.
