The Creation of Adam (Italian: Creazione di Adamo) is a fresco painting by Italian artist Michelangelo, which forms part of the Sistine Chapel's ceiling, painted c. 1508–1512. It illustrates the Biblical creation narrative from the Book of Genesis in which God gives life to Adam, the first man.
This is a painting that I enjoy. Its called 'The Creation of Adam' In the picture we can see a depiction of GOD (on the right hand side) and a depiction of Adam (on the left hand side). There are a couple of diffrent stories that this fresco painting (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Creation_of_Adam) tells. First we need to understand that the 'pink-red' ballon thing that is around GOD represents the mind of GOD, Secondly we see that mankind first existed and was 'birthed' from the mind of GOD, and GOD is reaching out to connect with mankind but mankind half-heartly flips his wrist for GOD to connect with him. Still inside the mind of GOD (at that time) was Eve, so GOD had not yet blessed men with the wonderfull hep mate that the woman is.
Today I thought about the painting when I read through an article that @anomaly wrote:
One of the circumstances that I find rather amusing is when the scientific community gets excited/perplexed when the 'discover' the begining of a story that the Bible has already told!
It reminds me of a verse in Acts 17:23
For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship--and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.
The citicezens of Athens paid close attention to detail (like in a speech the person says I want to thank this person, and that person) As Paul walked around the city he may have seen monuments to 'the water god' or maby 'the fire god' but then Paul saw a monument to the unknown GOD. (Did you know that the guy that discovered the atom...or something like that was an atheist, but then once he discovered a new piece of the puzzel he said now I know that there is a GOD because things could not have happened by accident.
As @anomaly said:
-... if the wind can't assemble a functioning CPU out of the raw materials found in a desert, then how do you suppose the winds of fate assembled human consciousness on this planet? The answer is that you (or at least the thing calling itself 'you') are probably not made from the atoms in this universe.-
Or as I like to point out that in order for a push to have happened, a 'pusher' must absolutely most positivly have been present
Perhaps today is the day when like the people of Athens something was said that causes you to think. I will say that the'pusher' is GOD and HE sent HIS SON JESUS CHRIST to not only rescue mankind (without a Savior we were all headed to hell) but another thing that the life of CHRIST proved is that there is a better way to live your life!
What CHRIST wants from you is that HE wants you to stop living like you are the only person that matters. GOD wants you to start living your life by HIS rules, and HIS rules are simple...#1 Love GOD, and #2 Love people!
