Blockchain taken down by bots. All crypto gone. Programmers rush to wind back the clock.

2년 전

Bots have taken down the blockchain. Their message is being broadcast in broken English “All your crypto are belong to us”.

The invading bots are returning armed with lasers and hyper-super spam-force guns. They have but one mission - to destroy humanity.

The entire world will in future be governed by spam bots. Isaac Assimov was right. The bots arrived.

Half the planet is already gone as they advance writing “thanks for sharing” and “nice post bro” on everything they find.

Hidden deep inside a crypto cave in the Swiss mountains are two valiant survivors - Ned and Dan. Dan has been persuaded by Ned to return from his forced retirement to save our planet. Ned and Dan are frantically coding to prevent Skynet and its spam bots from succeeding.

The ingenious plan involves going back in time - 14 days and re-writing the entire blockchain so that it can no longer spam the human race to death.

Another human straggler is nicknamed “He whose name shall not be spoken”. - but otherwise known as ‘Bernie Voldemort”. Bernie is hiding out in another Swiss cave. He’s shooting at everything which moves. If it moves, it’s probably an enemy, so shoot it. Despite his reputation reaching an all-time low of minus 5 gazillion, he bravely fights on, down-voting anything that looks like it may be friendly with a bot. Innocent birds, wildlife and minnows get caught in the crossfire.

The green fields of England are littered with the dead bodies of brave steemians who fought to save the planet from Facebot, ads, spam, plagiarism, and low quality posts. They lie on the green grass bleeding with red flags stuck through their hearts.

In an amazing geo-political moment of triumph, world leaders including Trump, Kim Jong Ung, Theresa May and Vladimir Putin fly to Geneva for a snap conference led by Tim Berners Lee and Satoshi Nakamoto. World Peace is declared. John Lennon is brought back from the dead and declared King of humanity. The only enemy of mankind is now the army of spam bots. World leaders resolve to fight to the end. John Lennon sings “Imagine”.

Now we must wait 12 days to see if our planet can rise from this imminent destruction. The last few steemians fight on praying that the phoenix can rise again from the ashes. Can Dan and Ned, and outlaw Bernie save our planet from imminent destruction?

Brilliant, @swissclive! I love your creative sense of humor. :) That's an extremely satiric thriller of reality... Maybe you could write a screenplay and make a film of it. Although, it would probably take too long and the reality may probably be in a second generation steemit of some sort by the release.

Several things came to mind as I read it, which I think I'll throw out for fun. First, a few days ago around when you posted this, steemit crashed and then came back up missing the last 2 weeks (not sure if before or after your post) for like an hour. I found that interesting.

Then the Bernie character brings to mind another with the same first name here currently at a -16, who has been a bit of an off and on loose cannon of late. Not to mention all the run-a-way bots everywhere on steemit.

Lastly, the Ned and Dan hiding in a cave aspect reminded me of how Ned seems to have completely disappeared from any activity on steemit (and maybe actually hiding in a cave :) for the last 2 months, after actually downvoting Dan, which @eosgo posted about here.

This last reality really struck a real sour chord for me, given my own downvote story quoted Ned in a video of how he ironically believed downvoting to be BAD.

I really love the bringing of John Lennon back to life and declared King of humanity. Who amidst the insanity, sings “Imagine” (one of my all time favorite songs). Great ending :)

·

@positivesynergy, you are more up to speed than I am with the activites of ned, dan, and he whose name shall not be spoken.

Let’s see if another big vote from me can help improve your crippled reputation. I read how it was destroyed when you discussed one of the whale wars. Most people, myself included, try to stay out of the way of those carrying guns.

Your score below, before my upvote

Let’s see how your reputation looks after my big upvote:

I'm both deeply thankful, @swissclive, and laughing my head off at your term, "he whose name shall not be spoken." Now in this nice mix of emotions, after a week of getting only 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night, I hear the Beetles song playing in my head, "Number 9, Number 9, Number 9". :)

Thank you for being you
Shining your light as you do
And showing me more of my own self too
From another more expanded point of view.

Not so many people understood the “ steemians with red arrows through their hearts” allusion if you scroll to the end of this blog. Almost nobody sees why it’s 14 days. That’s « ogooglebar »

Just in case anyone didn’t get the joke at the beginning here is an extract from: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_your_base_are_belong_to_us

"All your base are belong to us" is a popular Internet meme based on a broken English ("Engrish") phrase found in the opening cutscene of the 1992 Mega Drive port of the 1989 arcade video game Zero Wing. The quote comes from the European release of the game, featuring poor English translations of the original Japanese version.

This post was so good, OMG, I can't believe somebody was able to imagine all of that :)) So incredibly good!

Anyway, when AI will evolve much more, nobody will be able to make the difference between bots and people, they will be able to sustain long and complex conversations as humans do right now.

I am just going to listen this for now, international peace sounds so great!

I really hope your post gets seen by the involved people, at least from the crypto space, @dan, @ned and @berniesanders, if not by Trump, Kim Jong Ung, Vladimir Putin and Satoshi Nakamoto

Do you imagine how popular this place would become if at least one of that people would read this post?

Nice writing anyway, it made my evening better!

·

@mejustandrew. Max upvote for all your effort in this comment. Thanks also for the upvote and Re-Steem.

I can see from your reply that you have read and enjoyed this little explanation of why all the crypto have gone back in time.

Your type of comment is what this Blockchain needs to fight back.

As you can see from a few other comments, there are one or two very clever bots who are commenting. At the moment you can only just spot them, but not for long I fear.

How to spot a spam bot in your comments

Most spam bots can’t say anything intelligent to demonstrate that a human really read what you wrote. They look for a noun in the title and construct a generic sentence with it.

For example:

  • “Great blog about Blockchain. I think Blockchain is very useful @swissclive

Also many bots have weak English. Mostly they speak Python. The little English in their CPU was usually written by someone who worked in a call Centre. Challenge them and you usually get a generic reply like “Sorry. English not mother tongue. I really liked your post.”

Lastly, bots are very young. They don’t remember anything that happened before they were born, especially if the answer isn’t in Wikipedia. So you can ask something like

  • Which of the fabulous four imagined that there’s no heaven and no hell below?”

The bot can’t answer such questions.

Let’s hope that some of the important people mentioned in my post read it. I didn’t tag them.

Come on Donald Trump! Stop tweeting and start steeming!

Thanks also @mejustandrew for linking in that lovely John Lennon song. I hope everyone listens to the words.

Maximum upvote for this comment is coming.

Thank you so much swiss man, you are very supportive to minnows, and this is not the only time I let you know this. I hope believe that helping others, we will have the possibility to make this whole place to grow, and with it the value of Steem too. Even though I like receiving upvotes and collecting rewards, I feel that I have the responsibility to pass this on and to encourage others to keep being active, and even to ask you to keep a part of the voting power that you could be giving to my future posts, for the minnows who need more encouragement, especially as I passed the period when I wanted to quit because of the lack of interaction. I don't even know what to say, I have tried to upvote people and make them stay on the platform, but apparently it is more important to build relationships and interact rather than upvoting and giving rewards. The thing that I hate the most is to see somebody who I was trying to encourage to stay on the platform that gives up, and not even comes to say goodbye. They just leave the platform and never come to even collect their rewards or power down, but just give this place to abyss of mind.

Well, I am talking more than I should and too sad things for a Friday evening. At least there is one thing that Steem and Steemit promotes which helps the entire crypto space. Steem was for many people the first interaction with a cryptocurrency ever, and this brings a lot of value to this space!

·
·
·

I agree with you @mujustandrew. It is sad to see people drift away. In my opinion, there are those who are here for the community and feedback on what they write, and those who see steemit as a goldmine. It is the former we need to encourage the most with nice feedback.

·
·
·
·

Late reply on my end here. I am curious about who is the face of Steemit. As in how do people here about it? What are they told about it? People come in with those expectations in mind.In other words Who Controls The Narrative?

·
·
·
·
·

I would say the biggest face of steemit is @jerrybanfield. Google for his videos.

I presume that you're not big fan of bots? :)

I would upvote but I've such a low voting power today. I went to crazy with upvoting others in the morning

·

They are clearly out-numbering us. Our only hope is to call out the bad ones. Mankind will soon become the pet project of the machines unless we do something about it.

·
·

hahaha indeed humans will become pets one day :)

Although this sounds fictitious, it is the bold truth... Bots have taken over the game and have brought the fight to our doors; in as much as Ned, Dan and Bernie have taken imminent steps to save our planet, we shouldn't stand behind to watch them, but rather assist in all the little way we can..

Skynet isn't going to win!!!!!!

·

Very good. Your comment demonstrates that you read the blog!

As you can see there are a few of the enemies (spam-bots), who have inflitrated my comment section. Some seem quite clever with their generic comments, but they don’t fool me. I am really Luke Skywalker, and I can look into their minds to know if they are real humans.

Thanks, @swissclive, thanks a million.

A nice script for a movie (soaps we already have here (enough)).

·

It would be a great movie! I think I will call it “Terminator 17”. Oh wait.... Isn’t there already a movie with that name? How about “The return of the Terminator”.

What? That’s been done too?

How about “Terminator Genisys”?

·
·

How about the steeminator... LOL :)

·
·
·

Steeminator is a good title!

·
·
·
·

The Steeminator could end up being hacked, taken over and used by John Lennon and all all his blockchain revolutionaries (us steemians :) to save Ned, Dan and the world. LOL

BTW, I did a new post To CHANGE or Not to Change - That is the question. and just made a few edits to include blockchain technology and AI as the tools we can use for that change we all would like to see for the better in this world. When you get a chance, could you do me a favor and give it a quick read and see if maybe you have any ideas to suggest? Have a great weekend!

·
·

Lol. Was more thinking of "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".
It's up to them to sort out who's who.

Holy sh… @swissclive you really get a impressive style to write stories what demonstrated this little story for sure. Today I`m reading a lot of your post´s and I’m really really impressed by what I had read there. Even if you describe complex coherencies you do this sharply like a knife. I will follow your work for that reason surely. Thank you for letting me be a part of your audience.

Bot....

It's the UN headquarter and they are for peace.

13 Who is Tim Berners Lee?

  • What does John Lennon and Imagine represent?

I think it's just the idea of us using our imagination to answer your questions. Lolz.

If I had read this, no just seeing the topic alone, when my post was showing 14 days ago, would have given me an heart attack. You know the kind of attack you receive, when you buy into the pump, then it dips, and a deeper dip.

OK, I see that you have issues with spam bots and not bots generally. But why would bots built by humans destroy humanity? I need to start watching out for spam bots with broken English Lol.

The issue have been fixed right, cos everything back to normal. Happy weekend @swissclive.

·

Most bots, spam bots included, are coded in Monty Python, a computer language. This explains their broken English.

Now here’s an interesting thing: Python was developed in 1991 according to this Wikipedia article

Yet here is irrefutable evidence that the spam bots have used time travel to go back in time to create themselves. The video below was made before 1975 - some 16 years before the Monty Python computer language existed. You can see the Monty Python programmers planning their spam attack. Right at the end of this 1975 video, at exactly 3:07 they talk about Facebook -30 years before it was invented.

·
·

Create themselves? The video clip more like a comedy. How on earth would they know about Facebook?

·
·
·

How would they know about spam?

·
·
·
·

Maybe cos they created it

Lovely post @swissclive I love the way you encrypt the name and the concept you used in making this post your really a genius and from what you said in my post that you don't think you deserve a statue will I don't think that was right, you do deserve a statue with your name on it and I pray @dan @ned and the one whose name is not to be mention get to see this post.

·

Thank you. Yes, I really enjoyed the moment of inspiration that made me write this.

Hi love. I have resteemed your post.
It remindes me after i read it by the world war movie... even the cover picture it is from the same theme.
I like your writings .
Thumps up
Samer
Red rose

I liked the way you described the situation. In fact, now we see the spread of bots. People become lazier and prefer to use auto-voting, auto-commenting and so on. In fact, this situation was aroused from one human sin - laziness. Sasi people become like bots. Here we see it. They leave comments like: "cool post", "good message" and so on. Some do this consciously through bots, and some do it manually. But this is even worse.
Bots akatuyut and grab the block chain, but human facts - that's "fuel" for the growth of bots.

·

Soon everything you do will be controlled by bots. You won’t need to bother remembering things, or even anything.

wow .. wow wow .., your imagination is very high, like where do you do all this, this is a great article.
if that's the case then I will be the aide of the Bernie knight to crush all the robots who want to rule our world.
yes god do not let this happen.
thanks @swissclive for this very interesting post, now I'm following you @swissclive. please guidance her because I am a beginner in steemit. thanks, greetings from me for you. by @muftii

Hi if you are new, I was wondering if you and other newbies get all the points. Maybe I need to expand on some? (If nobody answers the below in 24 hours, I will answer myself).

Here’s a little competition to see how well steemians know steemit, internet and blockchain. 100% upvote for you @muftii if you know nearly all the answers. Also 100% upvote for the first steemian to write all the answers correctly, or at least 15 out of 16. I don’t expect most people to know no 15.

With SBD now over $3, my 100% vote is worth alot more than $12.34. Now is the time to win a competition.

1.Dan Larimer
Daniel Larimer was born in Colorado and spent his formative years in Florida and Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2003. He is a visionary software engineer and serial entrepreneur who is focused in the areas of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, decentralized exchanges, economic systems and freedom.Dan Larimer is the co-founder of Steemit, Inc and its CTO until march 2017. He's also the CEO of Cryptonomex, Inc. which is a blockchain technology consulting company. He also founded Bitshares and Invictus Innocations. He originated the idea of the "decentralized autonomous company" or DAC. In June 2016 Dan Larimer in his Steemit biog told that over the past three years he have worked with the Bitshares community to implement the worlds first Decentralized Autonomous Organization based upon many of the same principles as Ethereum's The DAO. Money was raised, tokens were allocated, and token holders were given the ability to vote on how to spend community money and set blockchain parameters. Dan's stated mission in life is "to find free market solutions to secure life, liberty, and property for all." Jeff Berwick, founder of The Dollar Vigilante and host of YouTube channel Anarchast heard from Dan that his goal is "engineer the economic incentives which make freedom and non-violence profitable".

The creation of Steem
If Bitshares was created to solve the issue of decentralized exchanges, Steem and Steemit are based on a combination of social networking and few concepts of mutual aid society. Before creating the Steemit, Dan mentioned the concept of a 'social network of mutual aid societies' as MUXER in his blog Mutual Aid Society (published in December 31st, 2015). In March, 15, 2017, Dan resigned Steemit, Inc with a post - Today I submitted my Resignation to Steemit, inc - published in his Steemit account.

2.Ned Scott
Ned Scott is the co-founder of Steemit, Inc alongside with Dan Larimer, they created the social-media and blockchain company in January 2016. Ned was a student in Bates College and between 2012 and 2015 a Business Operations and Financial Analyst at Gellert Global Group, The Gellert Global Group consists of many of the leading North American food importing companies, and has been involved in importing food products for over 100 years..In May 2016 he declared to CoinReport: “I learned of Dan about two and a half years ago, which was about eight months after I stumbled upon Bitcoin. I had been down the rabbit hole learning Bitcoin when I came across Dan’s work on the Bitshares project, and from there, blockchain really seemed to take up all of my time. In mid-2015, I began moonlighting for Dan, bringing his technology to different firms in New York. When 2016 arrived, I made my first trip to meet Danin person and we had a good match in personalities. The ideas for Steem had just started forming and from there we put a real business plan together and co-founded Steemit.”Ned added: “We were looking at micro insurance on the Blockchain and a few other ideas, but ultimately, we kept coming back to the idea that the most useful and powerful thing to leverage around a cryptocurrency is a community. Steem was born out of ideas about insurance and mutual aid: it was the idea that people would be able to help each other peer-to-peer if they were struggling to solve problems or needed assistance. It quickly grew into a much larger vision and Steemit was born as a place where individuals get rewarded by a community for posting and voting on content.”Before Steem's launch, Dan Larimer mentioned the concept of a 'social network of mutual aid societies' as MUXER in his blog: Mutual Aid Society (published in December 31st, 2015)In August 2016 Ned Scott told to Coindesk that entrepreneurs and developers have already created 50 different tools over the Steem blockchain network, such as Catch a Whale (which tracks where whales have recently voted) and SteemMarket (which lets users buy, sell and rent goods with Steem). He said: "The people showing up to use this are going directly to the blockchain. We don't have the authority to tell them not to. In fact, we implore it. What we set out to do is build an ecosystem and that’s exactly what’s happening."Beyond being a crypto entrepreneur he is also an amateur chef and part time guitarist but really don't sing though. In 2017 Ned Scott appeared in Matchpool website, an EthereumCryptocurrency powered matchmaking platform, as one of the advisors, described also with a background in business operations and financial analyst.

6.it can be concluded that the word "All your crypto are belong to us" is an example of a phrase, which in that phrase no subject or predicate is found. As I know that words will be called sentences must contain the subject and the predicate. So it can be concluded that phrases are not sentences, but sentences sometimes contain phrases.

7.more or less for 14 days Berniesanders Calling for Help to flag Haejin

8.is a Russian-born biochemist, who is also a very successful and extraordinarily productive writer. He is best known for his work of science fiction and science books for the laity. Asimov's most famous work is the Foundation Series, which he combined with two other series, the Galactic Empire Series and the Robot Series.

He also wrote many mystery stories (which were collected in Black Widowers books) and fantasy. In total, Asimov writes or edits over 500 volumes and about 90,000 letters or postcards, and his work is in every major category of Dewey Decimal System except Philosophy. Through a general consensus, he is the king of the science fiction genre, and along with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke, is considered one of the "Big Three" science fiction writers throughout his life.

Asimov was an old member of Mensa, albeit reluctantly (he described them as "happy to fight intellectually"). Asteroid 5020 Asimov is named so as a tribute to him

9.Skynet is the name of one of the secret programs used by the National Security Agency (NSA) of the United States.
10.because he is a robot that has been in the program to analyze posts
11.The standard of propriety of a post yesterday is very ambiguous here. A person may not like someone's post, because the standard he has is different from the posting maker. For example when A goes abroad and then writes his experience in Steemit, suddenly in the flag by the B, just because according to the B writing and the picture is inappropriate, then all efforts A to give information and share the experience collapsed instantly. Not only that, the reputation in Steemit will be destroyed. Just imagine, how ruined the A, not by his behavior that is out of ethics, but because the B has a different standard to see something.

The NSA set up a technology-based oversight program under the name in order to monitor the communication pattern and the location of those suspected of threatening the country's security.
I think, whoever we should have good intentions, to be able to stay together in Steemit. Feelings of greatness and authority so that they do not care about the fate of others, should be thrown away. Here we come personally though then share, just for one purpose, that is to grow together. There is no desire beyond that. Even if someone made a commonly agreed error (not an individual conclusion) should be discussed first, whether commented on in the comment field, or in WA, etc.
12.because of armed neutrality and involvement in the peace process around the world.
13.Sir Timothy John "Tim" Berners-Lee, KBE (born in London, England, June 8, 1955, age 62) is the inventor of the World Wide Web and chairman of the World Wide Web Consortium, which regulates its development.

Known for bitcoin initiators, implementing the first blockchain and initiating the release and dissemination of digital currency for the first time.
In 1980, while still a free contractor at CERN, Berners-Lee proposed a hypertext-based project to facilitate the sharing and updating of information among researchers. With the help of Robert Cailliau he created a prototype system called Inquire.

After leaving CERN to work at John Poole's Image Computer Systems Ltd, he returned in 1984 as a research associate. He used a similar idea he had used with Enquire to create the World Wide Web, where he designed and built the first browser (called WorldWideWeb and developed in NeXTSTEP) and the first web server called httpd.

Berners-Lee's first website (and therefore also the first website) is located at http://info.cern.ch/ (archived) and put online for the first time on August 6, 1991.

In 1994, Berners-Lee founded the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Until now, Berners-Lee is still humble and does not want to gain popular status. Many still do not know the power of this man's work, the World Wide Web.

One of his greatest contributions in advancing the World Wide Web is by not patenting it so it can still be used freely.

On July 16, 2004 she was given the honorary title of KBE by Queen Elizabeth II as a tribute to her services
14.Satoshi Nakamoto

16.This song was once crowned one of the best songs of all time. So many changes in the world over this song. The tragedies, the endless wars, the hopes of life are often represented by a song that was created in 1971 with a brown Steinway piano - which was finally purchased by George Michael. Which means he created the lyrics of Imagine exactly a year after The Beatles broke up.

Satoshi Nakamoto's name has been mysterious. No one knows who he is. However, Newsweek daily on Thursday (6/3/2014) claims that it has met directly with Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of the Bitcoin. Previously, in the middle of the Bitcoin community, many say that the name Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym. Others say that Satoshi Nakamoto is the name of a group, which means there are more than one person. However, in a report entitled "The Face Behind Bitcoin" published by Newsweek, Satoshi Nakamoto is named as the real name of a Japanese American citizen who is currently 64 years old and lives in California. Newsweek journalist Leah McGrath Goodman, who made the report, claimed to have done research by interviewing developers working with Nakamoto in the early days of Bitcoin.

In addition, Goodman also claimed to have researched research, forensic analysts, and even talked with the Nakamoto family directly. Although at first the Nakamoto family did not believe it, the description and the Goodman story fit the character of Satoshi Nakamoto in question, namely the founder of Bitcoin. Nakamoto is known as a smart person and seems to have the right expertise as a cryptographer. He is a Graduate of Physics graduate of Califronia State Polythecnic University. He is also known to work in security and communications for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Nakamoto himself chose to remain silent and try to run away when he found out that a journalist wanted to interview him. To Goodman, Nakamoto just said, "I'm no longer involved in it (Bitcoin), and I do not want to discuss it." In addition, Nakamoto also said that Bitcoin affairs had been handed over to others, and he had no relationship whatsoever. Nakamoto, as once KompasTekno wrote before, chose to leave Bitcoin. In April 2011, to his colleagues at Bitcoin, Nakamoto also sent a message that he "has moved on to do other things". Since then, Nakamoto's name has disappeared and is not traced. Attempts to contact him by the Bitcoin activists did not reap the rewards.

Controversial Now, reports from Newsweek are reaping much controversy, especially within the Bitcoin community itself, especially when Nakamoto's photos, homes, and addresses are published by Newsweek (later revealed). The publication is considered to violate Nakamoto's privacy. Satoshi Nakamoto whom Newsweek encountered was not yet fully established as the founder of Bitcoin, despite the strongly revealed clues leading to it. Quoted from the BBC on Thursday (6/3/2014), Bitcoin community also questioned the method used by Newsweek in tracking Nakamoto's identity. In the Bitcoin forum and social media, Bitcoin activists expressed their doubts about Goodman's report. The report is considered fake by some commentators in the Bitcoin Talk forum. They also ask for proof of Nakamoto's Bitcoin transaction if it is true that the man referred to by Goodman is the founder of Bitcoin. Bitcoin appeared in 2008 when Nakamoto revealed his idea in online media about digital currency. This type of currency then gets a lot of attention in 2013 so its value is strong. In mid-December 2013, one Bitcoin is in the range of 710 US dollars. However, lately, the currency is experiencing a downturn along with the problem of bankruptcy in some of the largest Bitcoin exchanges in the world.

I think you will find your 100% upvote. Your reputation also went up. The man that Newsweek wrote about - called Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto is not the one who invented bitcoin.

He collects model trains and writes reviews on Amazon in broken English.

He was willing to admit to being the bitcoin founder in return for a free lunch. Not really the behavior of a billionaire.

You can imagine that the journalist, desperate for a story “egged” it a bit.

It is quite possible that this journalist and a few others have discovered the true Satoshi Nakamoto but they wisely keep their trap shut. They have no qualms in talking up the fake Satoshis of whom there are several.

Several people in crypto world know it too. They are honorable people who will guard the secret. As one poster said. “If I tell you, I,ll have to kill you”. Nobody wants to find their family floating face-down in a river.

Unfortunately the information will become public knowledge at some point. I hope it’s 10, 20, or better 30 years from now, just for the sake of his family.

For more, you can read the blog I wrote called “Satoshi-the billionaire who never spent a penny. “. It was about 9 months ago and had 3 views and earned 1 cent.

Oh, these questions are so promising, I like to talk about all of these things, they make up most of my passions. Let me start easily:

  1. @Dan is the founder of BitShares, cofounder of Steem and also founder of EOS (CTO). He is mostly specialized on the technical side, also knows a lot about blockchain. His blog page contains lately only links to his Medium posts because of a fight he had with @Ned.

  2. @Ned is CEO of Steemit Incorporated, the company that made Steem (the token and blockchain) and that continues the development of it. @Ned is not so involved in the social part of Steem (he doesn't post or cast votes) because if he would do this, he would break the main idea behind the philosophy of the blockchain, which is decentralization. With his huge amount of Steem Power, he would be like a moderator to this place, a central unity. Because his lack of social involvement he is criticized a lot, by people who want its involvement in conflicts like those described below.

  3. I won't answer this question approximately. I will say it exactly, just because I am somehow good with numbers :)
-16.3 on the logarithmic scale. According to steemd, his reputation is -38,950,636,102,596 and changes with each however small or big downvote/upvote. It has the approximate reputation of a user with 65 between and 66 positive reputation in logarithmic scale. Considering the fact that he had much less reputation than that and the logarithmic scale, I can anticipate that he will get to positive reputation and even surpass mine in a couple of months depending of his activity and flags/upvotes.

  4. Because most of the times when he gets involved in something, he uses to flag plenty of people. If you mention him in one post, or if you reply to him, you have to chose your words carefully, and even so you can get a downvote, because he is acting very quickly, so he may not read your comment properly. He has done this before, and even with a of mine, which was actually supporting his opinion got flagged once, but small flags do not count :D
Also, this quote is associated with Voldemort, a pretty popular bad guy in Harry Potter, I will assume that everybody has read or even saw the movies, don't tell me that you haven't!

  5. @Haejin. I can explain much more about this, but I have already written a post about them during the previous flag war, and a second one short after. Basically, because @Haejin is upvoting himself with almost all of his and @ranchorelaxo's voting power, 10 times a day, he takes a lot from the reward pool and theoretically from the potential rewards of other users, including you, the person who is reading this (except @haejin). There is the other side, correct also, that everybody is free to do whatever he wants with his stake, even to self upvote 10 times a day. Sides have been formed and this is how a whole war started here. That were fun times.

  6. I will quote wikipedia on this one, because apparently i hadn't played that video games before, sorry!

  7. For no a smart reason that I don't get, sorry again!

  8. This question, why is it here? Why don't we ask who is John Lennon also?
He is a very popular and one of the most (some consider him the most) prolific authors about computers, AI and some philosophy about robots and how they should behave. A part of his writings are pretty accessible to the wide public, not being so scientific. I used to recommend reading The Last Question because it has just 9 pages, here are Asimov's words about this writing This is by far my favorite story of all those I have written. If the link that I have left to it doesn't work or gets obsolete (it used to work for a couple of years, but now, the physics dns of those at princeton seem to have issued a certificate that can't be verified so... you will have to google for it, I know you can!

  9. Last time when I have seen Terminator was when I was a kid, so I don't remember so well much about Skynet, but basically it was the bad guy character, a group of AI robots/computers forming a network that wanted to control the world and take down humanity. If you haven't seen Terminator, you should, it is a classic!

  10. Because they feel lonely and they want to cheer things up and make new friends, even though they don't understand much about the post itself.
Actually, in case the real answer is not obvious, they write this because they want to catch some votes; bigger or smaller, it doesn't matter as long as there is a lot of them. If you know for sure it is a bot and not a real user who can be taught of not doing this thing (it is called spam by the way), then the best thing which you can do is to flag them yourself andto report them to steemcleaners, @steemcleaners will come and take them down for you, and you could even earn some Steem Power rewards :)

  11. I don't know if this is more profound than this, but because they got mistakenly flagged, being caught in the war of flags. Which are red. Please correct me if I got this wrong!

  12. Because @swissclive is a swiss man and he likes Geneva :))
And basically because Geneva has a great political importance, being one of the most influent cities of the world. According to wikipedia (I know, I am quoting again, how smart should I be? :) - "Geneva is a global city, a financial center, and worldwide center for diplomacy due to the presence of numerous international organizations, including the headquarters of many of the agencies of the United Nations and the Red Cross".

  13. Just a guy. Besides kissing his wife(s) in the morning, before going to work, he made Internet. He is also a Computer Science professor at Oxford. What is Oxford? I won't tell you, because it is a secret!

  14. Theoretically nobody knows for sure, there were people claiming that they are Satoshi Nakamoto through the time, but to my knowledge, nobody knows for sure. Satoshi Nakamoto is (are?) known for putting the base of the blockchain technology and inventing the Bitcoin and PoW concepts. In the whitepaper of the Bitcoin, he (they?) talk about himself at plural - "We have proposed a system for electronic transactions without relying on trust."

  15. I completely agree upon keeping his name, but the number 15 as it is right now, is not a question :D Sorry for that, hope you won't hate me for my comments, swiss man!

  16. John Lennon and Imagine represent a form of peace and a manifest of global consensus about the good of this world and the well being of humanity Living life in peace. I wish from the bottom of my heart that someday the humanity will be able to reach the level of development to surpass greed and behave close to how John Lennon describes it in Imagine. It is sad that we are able to launch rockets through space, but we are not able to make peace with each other and with ourselves.

That's it, hope somebody will enjoy these!

  1. Who is Dan?
    Daniel_Larimer - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Larimer
  2. Who is Ned?
    Ned_Scott - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Scott
  3. What is Bernies reputation - approximately?
A negative indicator due to the collection of flags (-18)
  4. Why do I call Bernie “He whose name shall not be mentioned”?
There are several reasons. First, any mention of this "donkey" makes him an advertisement. Secondly, "Bernie" can give this article many flags from his collection along with his friends - "miniBurney." Thirdly - such shit as "Bernie" does not deserve, that it would ever be mentioned. Fourthly, mentioning "Bernie" there is a risk that someone like what "Bernie" does and then a new "Bernie" may appear. In-five, you do not want to kindle another wave of battle flags.
  5. Who on steemit is Bernie’s no 1 enemy (not referred to in the story, as the story is about spam-bots, and Bernie’s enemy is about someone whose rewards are too large and too frequent for his liking)
Artificial intelligence in the hands of greedy people.
  6. What is the origin of the broken English phrase “All your crypto are belong to us?”
  7. Why 14 days?
It is on day 14 that ovulation occurs, which can give a new STEEM to humanity. By the way, recently there was a mistake STEEM and I saw my first article, which I wrote 14 deys ago.
  8. Who is Assimov?
Isaac Asimov - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Asimov is a tough guy whom I persuaded to write his nonsense about robots that are now happening on STEEM.
  9. What is Skynet?
A very terrible place where robots are born are very similar to terminators.
  10. Why do the spam-bots write “Thanks for sharing” and “Nice post bro”?
Because they are "smart" think that they will earn so many millions, for we will "blunt" rejoice and give them a 100% upvote.
  11. Why do innocent steemians have red arrows stuck through their hearts?
Small and innocent be the easiest. Some "donkeys" are so self-affirming.
  12. If World peace is declared, why would it be in Geneva?
The war with robots is World War III. And after World War II, the peace agreement was signed exactly in Zhynev.
  13. Who is Tim Berners Lee?
It is because of this man who created the WWW and we can not calm down and now sit behind the Internet.
  14. Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? –
The alias of the person who created the of bitcoin.
  15. Bonus question for an extra double vote If you know Satoshi’s real name, please don’t write it. But give me an initial of his surname. We must respect his right to remain secret.
So this is YOU! After all, you are Bitcoin's mother
  16. What does John Lennon and Imagine represent?
    King of humanity

Good luck to you and LOVE!!!

"Blockchain taken down by bots" Its makes very bad effect in crypto market...

·

@prince121. This is indeed bad news. But don’t worry. We are trying to wind the internet back by 14 days.

We can do this thanks to the help of a cyborg assassin who travelled back in time to help us destroy Skynet and its spam-bots before it destroys us in the post-apocalyptic planet.

Is 14 days enough? We might need more....

Go back to a simpler time, when things were less hectic. To a time when dial up ruled. Spam was relegated to email. The corruption that is social media didnt exist. The Internet was a novelty...faxing was still advanced technology.

No texting, not tweeting, no walls on Facebook. People actually talked to each other. They drove their cars, ordered their food, and actually went to a store. The world employed lots of retail people making minimum wage and they should be damn grateful they get that.

I miss the days of hunt and peck medicine. I wish I got a paycheck each week so I could stand in line each Friday to deposit it.

Actually, it we are going to save the world, let us go back to a time when people had to get off their arse to change the channel (or get their kids to do it).

Mighty fine times.

Oh wait, I think Trump is trying to do that.

·

We haven’t ruled out asking the Founder of the World Wide Web, Tim Berners-Lee, to help us re-start the internet in 1975 but this time with a fee payable in steem for all spam emails.

By doing this Satoshi Nakamoto will be able to re-start the Blockchain, but this time without the chat and Fatbook.

Encryption has become very large and currencies are becoming very much
It is really possible for a person to achieve a great fortune behind them
We must endure patiently and study well until we achieve this
Your article is so wonderful you are a really successful person
I wish you all the happiness

·

@roselover Are you maybe a spam bot? Most of your comments are very generic like the one above and not really developing the discussion nor showing evidence of having read the blog. If you are human, just answer this simple question for me:

Where do our valiant survivors hide out while re-writing the blockchain?

·

Indeed this is what has happened. But you don’t seem to mind the bit about “All your crypto are belong to us”. Can you explain? Don’t you realise this is a complete re-set from zero?

I would take this dystopian future any day instead of the actual Skynet that the chinese are building :)

This great post i appreciate your creativity thanks for sharing this crytocurrency news..Best of luck..

·

Are you a spam bot? In wht way did you think this is news? Can you explain what you understood by my blog, because your comment sound suspiciously like it was created by a spam bot which is described as an attack on the blockchain. Prove you are not a bot by answering this question.

‘Who are the 3 people trying to save us?”

·

@rkaitra ... I think you should make sure your next interaction with the steem blockchain is in this thread...
Evidence you are a bot(and this is spam) is piling up:

  • No proof of contextual understanding of the blog post.
  • Less than 2 sentences of communicated information.
  • Self Up-Vote...

Don't get down-voted... start interacting.

Thanks for sharing this post,
I like this blok chain ...

·

Are you a spam bot by any chance?

Answer this question to prove you are not “who in this post is already dead?”

·
·

No my dera friend, actually my native language not english .And personally I love your all post.

·
·
·

so your a spam bot?

·
·
·
·

Yup “she” - or should I say “it”, looks like one.

There is another clue. “My native language not English”. This is a common failing of bots. They only speak python. The the little English in their CPUs was mostly programmed by someone who used to work in a call centre.

Also bots can’t answer historical trivia questions because they were created after the Beatles had gone down memory lane. Bots have no memory of what happened before 2010.

·
·
·
·
·

Hahahaha, are you for real?
Gosh I wish I can write on Bots have no memory of what happened before 2010

Three days ago I wrote a short steemit story. It is called “Bots take down the blockchain”. To enjoy the story to its fullest you need to know steemit and a little about the internet. To help steemit newbies I wrote some questions.

The competition comprising 16 questions is in one of my comments (replying to @muftii) right towards the end of the blog)

If you know steemit well, and you know a litle bit about the internet, you may be able to answer 15 out of the 16 questions.

Some questions may have more than one answer. (You may have to use your imagination). Clue: “Imagine” was sung by John Lennon. Why is the song so important to mankind? @mejustandrew posted a link to a youtube video of the song.

You may have to read some of the comments for an answer to a couple of questions.

If you are the first to get 15 out of 16 correct, I will give you a 100% upvote.

Don’t forget that with SBD worth over $3, my $12.50 100% upvote is worth alot more.

I will also upvote with at least 1% ($0.125), other answers which I find especially interesting, original, unusual, or funny, even if you don’t manage to get 15 answers out of 16 correct.

Question 15 is a special bonus question. If you think you know, for God’s sake, (and his family’s), please don’t write his name. An initial will do.

To answer the competition questions, you must answer here 8D6920D5-A638-4647-B1B1-36D7197F6DB4.jpeg

I.e Answer in my blog “Blockchain taken down by bots”

If you read the story (the blog) and the comments, it shouldn’t be hard for a steemian to answer many questions. If you are funny or use alot of imagination, I will give you at least 1% ($0.125) vote.

The 16 questions can be found here. https://steemit.com/blockchain/@muftii/re-swissclive-blockchain-taken-down-by-bots-all-crypto-gone-programmers-rush-to-wind-back-the-closk-20180420t105846645z#@swissclive/re-muftii-re-swissclive-blockchain-taken-down-by-bots-all-crypto-gone-programmers-rush-to-wind-back-the-closk-20180422t081723712z

Answer as many questions as you can anywhere in the comments section of the blog. Use your “imagination” when answering.

Competition ends in 24 hours. In other words, that’s midnight Nigerian time, and midnight in New York, Los Angeles and Australia. (Well you get the idea. The competition ends when I say it does, but in a maximum of one day.

Hurry to get your best answers into the blog below here.

·

Here’s a little competition to see how well steemians know steemit, internet and blockchain. 100% upvote for the first steemian to write all the answers correctly, or at least 15 out of 16. I don’t expect most people to know no 15.

With SBD now over $3, my 100% vote is worth alot more than $12.34. Now is the time to win a competition.

In addition, I will give at least a 1% vote to anyone whose answer is funny, interesting, unusual, unique or special, even if you do not answer all the questions. Have a go, even if you can only answer 1 question, you may get a nice vote.

  1. Who is Dan?
  2. Who is Ned?
  3. What is Bernies reputation - approximately?
  4. Why do I call Bernie “He whose name shall not be mentioned”?
  5. Who on steemit is Bernie’s no 1 enemy (not referred to in the story, as the story is about spam-bots, and Bernie’s enemy is about someone whose rewards are too large and too frequent for his liking)
  6. What is the origin of the broken English phrase “All your crypto are belong to us?”
  7. Why 14 days?
  8. Who is Assimov?
  9. What is Skynet?
  10. Why do the spam-bots write “Thanks for sharing” and “Nice post bro”?
  11. Why do innocent steemians have red arrows stuck through their hearts?
  12. If World peace is declared, why would it be in Geneva?
  13. Who is Tim Berners Lee?
  14. Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? -
  15. Bonus question for an extra double vote If you know Satoshi’s real name, please don’t write it. But give me an initial of his surname. We must respect his right to remain secret.
  16. What does John Lennon and Imagine represent?
·
·

1)Dan is a friend to Ned whose mission is to protect or save our Planet from skybet and spam bots.

2)Ned is also a frantic coder whom work with Dan to protect our planet from skynet and spambots

3)-5 gazillion

4)Because he is an enemy of progress.. Lols

5)Bernies enemy is anyone who want success for others example is Minnow support

6)I don't really understand this question. But I think it was originated by bots.

  1. To avoid spamming of the human race to death by bots and skynet.

8)He was the person who once proposed that The entire world will in future be governed by spam bots.

9)Skynet from this article is meant to destroy humanity with his partner spambots.

10)They use such post to destroy the planet and they write it on anything they find which led to the destruction of half of the planet.

  1. Because they were like heroes who
fought to save the planet from Facebot, ads, spam, plagiarism, and low quality posts.

  2. it will be in Geneva because in an amazing geo-political moment of triumph, world leaders including Trump, Kim Jong Ung, Theresa May and Vladimir Putin flew to Geneva for a snap conference led by Tim Berners Lee and Satoshi Nakamoto and World Peace was declared. Also, John Lennon was brought back from the dead and declared King of humanity.

13)He is a computer scientist who invented the World Wide Web (www)

14)He is the founder of the most popular cryptocurrency known as "Bitcoins"

  1. Lols... No idea... All I can say is that he is a Japanese.

16)John Lennon sang imagine... Lols

Seems your reputation has fallen in the last few hours. It was not me who flagged you @afrid, but you were warned.

thank you for sharing info about blockchain and crypto @swissclive

·

@zubir01. Tell that you are not a spam bot by answering this question. “Who shot the President?”

·
·

@zubir01. Was my question too difficult. (Before you were born...)

How about this one: “Who shot the Sherriff?”

·
·

@zubir01. Was my question too difficult. (Before you were born...)

How about this one: “Who shot the Sherriff?”

I'm not worried about bots....... I'm worried about bots that post concerns about the takeover of bots. This blog may be the last human generated post stressing concerns about bots.

Stupendous idea... The title gave me creeps.

haha the world may die of minnows some day lol

Excellent read @swissclive you painted a very insightful picture of this particular blockchain that almost became a Jill Sandwich :-)

This post is very useful, but I will continue to follow your next post. thank you @swissclive

If this cryptic jaunt is an the explanation for the recent 12 day's post going missing, and then coming back again...

...Can you do a less cryptic jaunt please?

What just happened!??

·

Yes, we are winding back the internet 14 days. That’s where posts and crypto went.

·
·

ohhhhhhhhh!.... that's ok then...

·
·
·

All posts and crypto are now part of the future. Future history yet to be written.

Excellent. hehehehe the best way to end this dilemma, is hiring Maduro, the in his brutality is capable of destroying anything. It would be a good idea to pilot one of those ships. He is a specialist in destroying things, especially a country.

this is fantastic crypto fiction, love it man. following cause this is fantastic. reminds me a lot of war of the worlds ^_^

The quote comes from the European game release, featuring a poor English translation of the original Japanese version. The meme was developed from this as a result of a GIF animation depicting the opening text, which was initially popularized in the Something Awful message forum

some bots often comment on my posts with fake seduction, but I do not care, because I do not like bots that are maintained by some people who do spam (spam is bad ethics). personally I hate war
I like to write FREEDOM and I also write in my blog about WHEN FREEDOM OF SPEECH(invites everyone to achieve freedom in honest and fair prospects) if you do not mind visiting for a little advice on my writing.I hope many people are motivated by you, @swissclive and my prayers are always accompanying
