Rampage is a movie quite suitable for children, but I don't know why it was labeled C16 by the theaters ?
In terms of content, this movie has a familiar story. From the begining, because of making profit, a company has created new kind of huge genetically modified animals that endanger for humanity. Then a hero squad has shown up and recused the whole city. Personally I feel this content has nothing new and besides the friendship between humans and animals, that's The Rock and the gorilla George.
Mention to the movie making stage, there is nothing spectacular about this movie. Giant animals have been created using graphic technology look really unnatural and unreal.
The cast of the movie, of course, The Rock nailed it as always. I also like Mr. Detective with his humor. But the rest of the cast are unknown and the acting skills are limited.
Overall, this movie is suitable for someone who is an easy-going person, or fans of The Rock. If you are a strict spectator and look for something that make you "Wow," then it would be wasted if you buy the tickets.
