Regardless of what is happening in the market, the laying off of 70% of Steemit Inc. workforce...we at @walkofhope keeps on. So while the making of bamboo furnitures for the upcoming bamboo restaurant in Kabankalan City is ongoing, we have had a word from @flabbergast-art that the church of Tan-awan has also ordered some furnitures and fixtures. This will be another income for our high school kids in Tan-awan.
So these are what have been ordered, all to be made with bamboo:
12 pcs wall lamps,
1 pc reading lamp,
2 pcs microphone stand
From @flabbergast-art's bamboo innovations made in Bayawan, our plan is to create innovative bamboo products that are unique and specific in Tan-awan. These to be different from all the products made in the provinces of Negros, most specifically from the neighbouring towns.

Walk of Hope's advocacy
Just a recap on our advocacies, one is creating livelihood for our high school students in Tan-awan. For the time being. As @flabbergast-art is staying there now, other means of livelihood will be introduce for the community when time allows. The continuity of these livelihoods depends on the quality produced for the Department of Trade & Industry and the Department of Science & Technology to get involved and provide the tools needed.
THANK YOU for all the support. Till the next update!
