Literally...when playing breaking-the-pots, with full of candies, coins and unknowingly, some flour, the aim is to blast those pots to smithereens to gain access to all those goodies! In blindfold.
Receiving some donations for @walkofhope on Christmas Day from @donkeypong and @adollaraday, with @flabbergast-art on leave in Northern Philippines, and me being home in the province with my nieces @idamagbag and @tiffanyanne ...i thought that a little celebration and giving some love in our neighbourhood via @walkofhope was needed, collaborating with my cousin from Hawaii, this i posted yesterday via @walkofhope here.
As i prepared the pots with no flour, the kids added some later on as it's more FUN to them apparently. I must say it adds some color in the pictures.
Bindfolded at the start, a participant needs to be turned around at least for 10 seconds, with the aim to disorient and misled him/her to where a pot is.
The crowd can literally trick or help a participant to the pot or worst, the person can just be disoriented and can go anywhere off-direction.
Why so serious @flabbergast-art?
Or one can just be naughty, play a prank and pull the pot way too high!
@idamagbag at play!
Don't forget those who've missed it!
Seriously and totally.
Kind of difficult to have the right timing in getting some shots but a few were manageable. Teary-eyed and with painful tummy from laughing so hard, these were the only shots that I was able to manage.
There were other games so the whole afternoon was spent playing. Prizes were given immediately after a game so all winners were covered. A fun-filled afternoon in our neighbourhood, full of happiness, joy and laughter to welcome 2019.
What @walkofhope can bring for 2019 i have an idea though not at a liberty to say anything as yet. After our creating a livelihood in Tan-awan, @flabbergast-art will move on to another city in Negros or another province. One island down, there are a few more!
