Coconut in itself is a sweet, desert. Coconut cookies are readily available in market and I used to purchase them a lot until recently when I learnt making them at home. They are too simply, just 3 ingredients and you have wonderful home made coconut cookies. I try to make them with very less sugar so that I can eat more of them. Let’s see how simply we can make coconut cookies at home.
Kitchen Standing Time
- 200 gms desiccated coconut powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 Cup powdered sugar
Step 1: Add the powdered sugar, egg white and coconut powder in a bowl. Mix well.
Step 2: Now take a pan and put the mixture in the pan. Keep the flame low and keep stirring until the
sugar melts. Make sure you keep stirring, the mixture should not change its color.
Step 3: Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool.
Step 4: Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees.
Step 5: Place butter paper on the baking tray. Take small portions of the mixture and place them on the
baking try. Keep the cookies at some distance.
Step 6: Bake the cookies for around 10 minutes at 180 degress until golden brown.
Step 7: Allow them to cool. Store in a air tight jar.
