The story "Twilight" centered on a different world romance story between Bella Swan, an ordinary man and Edward Cullen, a vampire.

What I am reading now - Steemit posts

Oh gosh, The Foundation series by Asimov! I haven't read that in years and it's time for a revisit. Love Dan Brown's books. The Dark Tower I read because a friend recommended it as his favorite but it isn't mine. Will always love the Lord of the Rings. Have read then re-read all of the GRR Martin books, every year. Right now re-reading The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, I also own and re-read all of the 'In Death' series by J. D. Robb. Love Terry Pratchett!
I love to read!
The book that made the biggest impact on me when I was in my teens was 'The Fountainhead' and then 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand.

Oh, and I highly recommend James A. Michener's lesser-known work, 'The Source' about an archaeological dig in Israel.

Baghavad Gita.
A book about a magician.
The Rational Male

Best book I've ever read this year: None
Best one I've ever read: 1984
One of my favorites: Scott Pilgrim

Hello bunnypuncher and friends hope everyone is doing well

Congrats winners! I have read Rich Dad, poor dad recently and it is a brilliant introduction to personal finance which I would recommend to everyone to read.

The best book I've read this year, has been the best I've read in all my short life: Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Although I also liked it a lot 1984 by Orwell and: And Then There Were Non by Agatha.

The best book I read this year is: 1984 written by George Orwell.
It is a fictional world for 1984 where it is governed by 3 dictatorships, it shows how the control over its population is so much that despite the damage it does to them, they manage to be loved by them.

One of the best books I have read is the Godfather, written by Mario Puzzo. I think there's no need to explain why, it's just a classic.

The Tudor diamond written by Will Whitaker would say it's my favorite book. It is an espionage novel set in the England of Charles V, this takes advantage of the war that reigns in Europe to extend his empire, while pacts an alliance with the Pope in Italy. Only England can face it. At thirty-six, Henry VIII presides over an opulent court, and entrusts to Richard Dansey, a young and ambitious goldsmith, the difficult mission of finding the perfect jewel for Ana Bolena, his last conquest.
This journey takes Richard from Venice to Rome, and throughout Europe, while being involved in the artful intrigues of the court of the Tudors.

1984 is a great book, reminds me of socialism.

Is that the book shows what is really socialism. Here in Venezuela you can see how the system is a faithful copy of what happens in the book.

Venezuela is the proof that socialism doesn't work. The government follows all the rules of Karl Marx's manifesto and Castro ideologies.

havent read any this year, keep getting interupted.. but as a kid, use to like john wynhamss - chocky, last good book i'd read was j.g. ballard - high rise in which they eventually made a film on it, which captured the book well, before that was albert einsteins - the world as i see it

Get rid of your TV set! In place later, you can install a beautiful bookshelf.

The old book is a new book for those who have not read it yet.

lately I have not had time to read new things. but if I'm reading a very good comic it's called The wicken and the divene by Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie, Wilson, Cowles

When you have knowledge, you must teach it to others.

A book like a ax for ice frozen within us.

Science only moves slowly, crawling from one point to another.

We read to know that we are not alone.

I should be angry. But the silencer again. Because it's useless. Did not change anything. Anger makes the distance between us. Spread the long way and burn all that remains. That's why I prefer to be quiet and calm down for a moment. When I get upset from you. Because, that's much better. Instead of letting go of anger and making the whole thing torn apart.

A book is like a flower garden that is carried in a bag.

Science is a flashlight that illuminates the path of dark life.

Do not disappear again. Because your loss is destroying the mood. Do not leave without further news, because your keeps always leave you lonely. If you can not strengthen me by being by my side. Do not frustrate me with your uncertain existence. If we can not meet every time. At least try not to wait too long. Because if we are right in love each other. We will never allow a whole heart to become wounded.

Can you convince me without growing doubt in you? You know very well, once half my heart was too crushed. Try to strengthen me by emphasizing you believe all this. If you hesitate-because the wound was too deep-how can I be strong myself. Doubts often give rise to other doubts.

There's a point I feel I just need myself. Hugging myself. Calming the anxiety that is in the chest. Convincing even the anxieties will soon subside. Then lecture my lips smile-whatever is going on. I need strength from within myself; which reinforces in all circumstances. Not going to drop and degrade even if I fail to get what I aspire to. Probably true, I just need myself. Catch all the dreams. The one who is far away, who is almost locked, is still to be fought for. So, be strong myself. This path still needs all those beliefs.

May you be good for me. Friends who reduce me to do evil like in the past. Someone who accepts steps to go to new things. Something that brought change to me. Who does not go though know, many mistakes I've done in days gone by. You still want to grow. Despite my understanding, I once fell. If today I still look bad in behaving. Bring on the good. Though slowly. At least, we have a more beautiful goal at last.

There is no stop word to study, because every time until we die we always need knowledge

If there is someone invested without a science, if he is lucky, it's just a matter of luck.

If you always fail to do something, it means there is a science that you do not know yet, but you should know.

All book is my like..

Be a knowledgeable person, so that you, your family, and your environment will be better.

You can not achieve science except with six things that are smart, always curious, steadfast, have stock in the study, guidance from the teacher and in a long time.

Science is more important than treasure. For the inheritance of the prophets as for treasure is the legacy of Qorun, Pharaoh and others. Science is primarily of treasure because it keeps you, if it is your treasure that guards it.

The Best Book I've read this year is the book of "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" Written by Stephen Covey and published in 1989.

The Book is all about Personal change, How to be Productive and Setting Goals. I really like this book because it is very Helpful and Useful. Applying it to oneself in a day to day matter is really a Life Changing Experience.

My best friend is someone who rewards me a book I've never read.

Reading can keep the heart from anxiety and keep time from futility.

The book I read always gave new wings, took me to fly to the most endearing gardens of knowledge, crossed time and events, shared love stories, greeted all the characters I wanted to meet, while playing in a rainbow arch.

The book never forces you to search for electrical plugs

If fun toy your smartphone, can - can baterei your smartphone runs out. Well if it is busy deh looking for electric plugs or alternative power source such as power bank. Well, by reading the book, guaranteed you do not need a power bank let alone busy nyari electrical plugs.

I always combine reading and writing. The books I read made it easier for me to remember because I wrote down my understanding.

The book is a lighthouse that stands by the ocean of time.

I’m not sure if it’s a favourite or a book that just had a huge impact on my mental wellbeing while reading it.

The book is called The Demon and is about a young guy building his career and starting a family. He works insanely hard and does all the right things to get ahead. And becomes very successful. But at the same time he always has some secret addiction that grows and grows in intensity.

The book is written from his perspective and was written so well that you felt as if you were actually him for the duration of the book. I shudder a little every time I think about the book.

I can’t find the book in my collection so it must be in storage. Which is annoying since I can’t remember the name of the author.

A second book that has stayed with me is The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. This one is by John Boyne. It was brilliantly written and gave a deep insight into the shocking things that went on during WWII. This was also a scarring book to read. Interestingly, this is one book whose movie adaptation was incredibly well done. It’s well worth both reading the book and seeing the movie.

I do not know there is a problem that can not be degraded by an hour of reading a book.

Like the story books / novels we read, in terms of characters / plays, backgrounds, imagination of space and history as well as other things make the ability to remember will be more developed.

The addition of vocabulary that occurs when we read novels, story books, comic books, business magazines, economics and other types of information providers. The linkage of vocabulary adds to the rapid flow of media information that always spawns new things like social networking, e-commerce, links and new kinds of terms related to business, economic, financial, political, and many other news stories.

Giving you knowledge
By reading, you will add to your knowledge and knowledge. Insights become widespread, you also become smart. Conversely, not all boyfriends can add to your insight. Knowledge of people is different. If you get a girlfriend whose insights are not welded, your chatter will also be of no value.

The greatest book I've ever read was probably "Little Women" .. but a close second for me, to be more modern, is "Illusions" by Richard Bach. Currently, I'm trying to learn the ins and outs of Steemit and am not reading a book offline.. although I am taking some chess lessons online, reading a lot about that! This is my first time finding this contest and I just wanted to say hi really : ) If I know myself I will probably wander away from here and lose myself in the Steemit sea again. So hello and goodbye.. enjoy the waters! ♥

The Speedreading Book of Tony Buzan definitively ended up being an eye opener to the topic of reading itself and it also led to be the centerpiece of my best post here on steemit, so that one definitively qualifies.

I also reread some books that I have read a couple of years ago from authors that I thoroughly enjoyed back then. Especially the russian author Sergej Lukianenko still manages to impress me, so I think I will also mention something of his.

The entire "Nightwatch" series of his is probably what he is most well known for and a generally speaken great series of modern times fantasy, so you can't go wrong with that.

There are a few excellent books both in fiction and non-fiction that I have read this year. But these would be the best..

  1. Seveneves by Neal Stephenson
  • A hard sci-fi novel, the story caught my interest from the first sentence, “ The moon blew up without warning and for no apparent reason.” I have an interest in science, engineering, rockets and how they are built and operated, and I love reading science fiction. This book has plenty of these things weaved beautifully with an interesting story. So, this is a good read for anyone who is interested in all of the things mentioned above.
    2)Four hour chef
  • A non-fiction book, this is not a book necessarily about cooking as much as it is about ‘learning how to learn.’ This is a good read especially since one’s success now is dependent upon one’s ability to learn and re-learn different skills in the same domain or a different one.

My best book for this year is "HOW to win and influence friends".

I have also read: Power of focus and Heroes

I expect lucky will smile with everyone

yes i read books but not the kind of books i want to remeber lol.

im talking about my university courses!

I hate study books. Be friends

The Dark Tower ! It's E P I C ! Later i will read "The Sleeping beautys".

Im reading right now "Crónica de una muerte anunciada" by Gabriel García Marquez and i like it. Some of the best i read: 1984 by George Orwell and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.

All of the true book about The Biography of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).

Mark Frost
The List of Seven (1993)
The Six Messiahs (1995)

1984 (never finished it), harry potter

Warcraft series

chronik der unsterblichen - 1 to part 15 till yet.

About vampires 🧛‍♂️ :-)

The red wall, best ever is probably the secret.

Very good daily contest

I'm not very fond of books. I prefer to read the newspaper. Or baseball books and magazines.

I love history books.

I want to win it tomorrow..

The choice book helps a lot in understanding what exactly is the motivation behind every action we take so that what we do becomes good for others. This book is important in helping us build strong relationships with others.

Those of the Lord of the Rings, are the best without a doubt. And without leaving aside those of Game of Thrones.

" The Love Story " is favorite my book in 2018..

I must read the book first.

I love you

This year I have reread one of my favorite sales books, It's a 1959 book called "The 5 Great Rules of Sales" written by Percy H. Whiting. The author was the director of Dale Carnegie's sales courses. I am very fond of this book because it was the first sales book I ever read and it helped me fabulously to be among the 10 best sellers of the company. Another book I am reading is "The Overseer" by Jonathan Rabb. Which deals with the use of chaos theory to dominate the world. Very interesting

In the midst of increasingly competitive competition today is very necessary for us to always expand the horizons and always increase knowledge

Hopefully many lessons can we learn from their struggle
