What is Verasity? A Blockchain Solution for Advertising on Video Content

2개월 전

I've been hearing so much about Verasity lately - in part because their coin has been skyrocketing, but also because they are looking to tackle the problem of advertising on video content in a unique way using blockchain technology.

Ya'll know I love me some good decentralized video platforms, but what is interesting about Verasity, is that instead of creating an alternative platform and tempting users away from centralized sites such as YouTube, Twitch, and Vimeo - they are integrating directly with those platforms to help bring attention based crypto rewards where people are already hanging out.

I thought this seemed like an interesting project and I wanted to dig into it a little more. It will be interesting to keep an eye on these guys as they continue to develop and expand.

I hope you guys enjoy this video and as always - I love hearing from you in the comment section below!

XO, Lea

Really good video ! But I need to correct you on one point: DLive is not decentralized. They name themselves "decentralized" but yeah they are not. Like many many many other dApps are calling themselves decentralized without even being it. Just running on a blockchain means not being decentralized in general.

But anyways - I like the energy, the condensed informations in the video and you :D

Thanks Tibfox! You are right, I should be more careful with using the term decentralized. Very few blockchain based social media dapps out there are actually decentralized... Steem is really one of the only ones! It felt weird talking about Dlive considering all the bad blood in the past - but the PewPieDie example is perfect. haha

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my video. :)

really good information, i am going to check out verasity now. thanks
