GOTONG ROYONG BUDAYA ASLI BANGSA YANG SUDAH TIDAK ADA LAGI NILAINYA SAAT INI

Dear Steemians,

Semoga bermanfaat.

GOTONG ROYONG ORIGINAL CULTURE OF NATION THAT HAS NOT HAD ANY VALUE AT THIS NOW.

Dear Steemians,

In the past, mutual aid culture was always heard every Friday and Sunday. Working together in mutual cooperation cleaning places of worship, cleaning canals, plowing rice fields, planting rice, harvesting rice and even "jeumeulhee" the term Aceh, which separates rice from its stem to be pounded into rice. Even in the past, repairing damaged roads and bridges was done in mutual cooperation. And usually the mutual cooperation is carried out on Friday and Sunday.

The term mutual cooperation that I know comes from Javanese.
Namely the meaning is:

  • gotong = bear
  • royong = together. So the point is shared jointly with a shared affair, or done together.

In the past, the culture of mutual cooperation was implemented by the community in Aceh, in two forms of mutual cooperation, namely:
First, mutual help to help. For example, at marriages, deaths, and custom events and other social events.
Second, mutual cooperation for community service, such as work on the construction of houses of worship and repair work on roads and bridges and other infrastructure.

Through mutual cooperation, many problems of shared life are easily resolved and do not require a lot of money, including community development activities.

As the photo shown here, that the members of the MUSPIKA Langkahan District consisting of BABINSA, BABINKANTIBMAS, and SATPOL PP, along with elements of the community, are working together to repair a broken bridge, together with the Gampong apparatus with capital from community self-help costs. The bridge is a connecting bridge between two Gampong.

Scenery like the photo is now rarely found anymore.
Especially now that there is a Village Fund in every village. All work is done using the Village Fund, so that the value of mutual cooperation is no longer in the life of the community in the village. But the leaders at the Langkahan District level were able to raise the spirit of community cooperation to carry out development with the spirit of mutual cooperation.

With the times, it seems like the spirit of mutual cooperation has begun to disappear. In fact, many real village funds from Dana Desa are a destroyer of the mutual cooperation of the Gampong community. And one of the other factors that fades the spirit of mutual cooperation because now there is a lot of assistance given, so that everything is easy to do and complete, there is no need for a mutual cooperation spirit. Yet through mutual cooperation can make an effective communication tool in the Village.
Steemian's own evaluation is high, whether the current spirit of mutual cooperation needs to be maintained or eliminated.
May be useful.
