MAKANAN TRADISIONAL "DUMBEK" KHAS REMBANG JAWA TENGAH

Dear Steemians,

Saat saya datang ke Kota sejuk Bogor Jawa Barat, pada suatu acara pertemuan, waktu jam istirahat disajikan minuman, teh, kopi dan susu, itu suatu hal biasa aja. Tapi yang membuat saya terkejut saat disajikan makanan yang sangat mirip dengan terompet yang di gulung dengan pucuk daun kelapa yang masih muda di Aceh.

Ini saya foto makanannya seperti saya tampilkan disini. Saya tersenyum sambil terus mencari informasi makanan apa namanya dan dari mana asalnya. Saya bertanya pada pelayan yang bertugas pada acara tersebut. Menurut petugas makanan tersebut namanya "dumbek" yang merupakan makanan Tradisional dari Rembang, Jawa Tengah. Bungkusan makanan tersebut mirip sekali dengan Terompet, rasanya lumayan manis dan dibungkus dengan daun lontar, bukan seperti terompet anak- anak di Aceh yang digulung dari pucuk daun kelapa yang masih muda.

Makanan kue "dumbek" dibuat dari tepung beras, gula merah, dan santan. Dimasukkan kedalam gulungan daun lontar yang mirip terompet, rasanya gurih, lemak, manis dan hampir mirip dengan kue nagasari di Aceh.

Inilah sekilas tentang makanan khas "dumbek" dari Rembang yang saya tau sesuai informasi yang saya dapatkan.

TRADITIONAL FOOD "DUMBEK" TYPICAL REMBANG CENTRAL JAVA

Dear Steemians,

When I come to the cool city of Bogor, West Java, at a meeting, during recess time drinks, tea, coffee and milk are served, that's just normal. But what surprised me when it was served was food that was very similar to a trumpet which was rolled with young palm leaves in Aceh.

I will photograph the food as I show it here. I smiled as I continued to look for information on what food was called and where it came from. I asked the servant on duty at the event. According to the food officer the name "dumbek" which is a traditional food from Rembang, Central Java. The food package is very similar to the trumpet, it tastes pretty sweet and is wrapped in palm leaves, not like the trumpet of children in Aceh rolled from the tops of young coconut leaves.

"Dumbek" cake food is made from rice flour, brown sugar and coconut milk. Put in a roll of palm leaves like a trumpet, the taste is savory, fat, sweet and almost similar to Nagasari cake in Aceh.

This is a glimpse of the typical "dumbek" food from Rembang that I know according to the information I got.
