The end of October (October 31, 2018) is the 10th day of Bitcoin's birthday which is celebrated as the birthday of Bitcoin which is an innovation of digital currency made based on the idea of the mysterious scientist Satoshi Nakamoto who is still unknown where it is today.
On the anniversary of this one decade, unfortunately, bitcoin is still experiencing a decline compared to its glory last year. According to Reuters, the value of bitcoin was 3 percent lower than last October 31 last year.
At that time, the price of the bitcoin closed at a price of USD 6,416. However, the price is rising until finally it reaches the price of USD 20,000 on December 17, 2017.
Bitcoin prices rose to 1,300 % in 2017 due to massive purchases by retail investors from South Korea to the United States. Bitcoin's huge popularity is inseparable from its owners who show off the luxury items they buy with bitcoin.
Not everyone is enthusiastic about bitcoin. The loudest are Jack Ma and Warren Buffett who openly dislike bitcoin. According to Buffett, home investment is still clearer than bitcoin. After entering the peak period in December 2017, the price of bitcoin began to decline. On its 10th birthday it was valued at USD 6,443 or lost about 70 percent of its peak value last year.
At present, crypto money market players imply that the value of bitcoin is now different from last year's bitcoin increase which was driven by a momentary trend and the behavior of investors who are afraid of being left behind.
Josh Bramley, chief trader of the Blockstars crypto management wealth firm said that: "Today's mechanism of crypto and bitcoin values is based more on technology than hype and FOMO attitude (fear of missing out)".
