Today I will write another recipe for healthy and delicious baby food.
Before the recipe, I want to share with you some tips.
You must be careful with some food like nuts. Although very healthy, nuts are hard to eat and. babies can't eat them for sure. Also, always have in mind possible allergies.
How to recognize allergy?
When babies are very small it's hard to tell when something is wrong.
One way to recognize an allergy is:
- Hives or itchy skin rashes
- Trouble breathing
- Pale skin
- Loss of consciousness
Reactions can be from mild to very hard and dangerous.
Please, if your child is having trouble breathing after eating a new food call 911- emergency immediately!
Now, I will give you the recipe for the baby that is 8 month old and older.
It's a chicken, rice and carrot puree. This is a really small full meal. The puree contains carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins. It's easily digestible and so delicious.
For this delicious puree you need:
- 1 medium carrot
- 20gr chicken fillet
- 20gr rice
- Peel the skin off from carrot and cut it
- Cook carrot in boiling water about 5-8 minutes
- Add meat and rice
- Cook until all the ingredients are softened
- Put cooked food in a blender with broth and
- Blend until smooth puree
As you can seen it's so easy to make.
