Gotham City. We have this little thingamabob that we got at a Comic-Con or a Wonder-Con one year. It's from the TV show that is, I think, called Gotham City. It's one of those look at it one way, it looks one way, turn it a bit, and it looks different, kind of images. You know? A doohickey. Anyway, Lochlan loves to look at it and see the people change. It's people, on the image. Characters from the show. Before they were villains, after they were villains. Catwoman, Penguin Man, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, and one more that I don't know the name of, but she wears a hat with a veil in her villain look. It reminds me of how, when I was a kid, I used to love to go through my mom's wallet and I could stare for what seemed like ever at the images of the birds on the credit cards, you know the ones? The shiny holographic birds. I loved those images. And now I have a kid who loves this fun image thingy, and he also loves to pulls stuff out of my wallet. He hasn't noticed the holographic birds yet. Do the holographic birds still exist? I think they do. For now, he just likes to pull everything out and then try to put it back. I take the cash out first. I still wonder what the point of life is. I was just reading some meme type thing that a friend shared--oh there went the timer, but I'll finish the sentence--where someone said that Jeff Bezos had enough money to buy every single homeless person in the United States a house, and still have over a billion leftover.
