Is the dollar doomed?
The actions of central banks might tell the story.
Lately, they have been moving away from U.S. debt and buying up a lot of gold. This is a radical departure when you consider banks consider that they consider this type of debt to be on par with cash. The U.S. dollar is the world's reserve currency with that debt market the largest, most liquid in the world.
A number of central banks besides China are behind the buying. This could show their faith in the future of the USD.
Could we be in for a collapse of the U.S. dollar?
