Gridcoin - Weekly project update (wk39)

Here is my weekly Gridcoin (GRC) earnings update for whitelisted projects.

The information is gathered from BOINCStats and CoinMarketCap, after which I calculate the earnings in GRC and USD for systems with a RAC of 1000. Further details can be found in the definitions section below.

In case the tables and charts are unclear, you can also find this article on whaleshares, which has a better display quality.

Project whitelist status update

There have been no changes to the number of whitelisted projects last week, this means you can earn Gridcoin (GRC) crunching 19 BOINC projects..

Individual project developments

The tables below contain four indicators, presenting the project development over a period of one week, one month, three months and one year.

Gridcoin project charts

The charts below provide the longer-term trends for active user development, team contribution to the BOINC network overall and the whitelisted projects.

(Data source: BOINCStats, grcpool and CoinMarketCap)

  • Recent Average RAC = The total amount of RAC produced by all systems within the Gridcoin network.
  • Team RAC vs Overall RAC % = The proportion of RAC output team Gridcoin has produced as part of the overall RAC for the project.
  • GRC per 1k system RAC = The amount of GRC you will receive for a system per 1000 RAC points. Example: You have a system which is running Rosetta@home with a RAC value of 3500. According to the chart on 24-Sep, you should gain 3.5 x 0.32 GRC = 1.12 GRC per day for this system.
  • USD per 1k system RAC = The amount of USD you will receive for a system per 1000 RAC points. Example: You have a system which is running Cosmology@home with a RAC of 4700. According to the chart on 24-Sep, you should gain 4.7 x $0.0117= $0.055 per day for this system.

Are you filtering by team? We have four whitelisted teams now, and the collection of statistics for the gridcoin network should be by the beaconed CPID set and then by whitelisted teams.

That's a valid comment @jamescowens, I have to include the 3 other whitelisted teams as well.
I need to review the way I compile the information.
