Resident Evil 2 Remake is a good reason to own a computer. Mods like these for Claire Redfield prove it. Sure, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are cool, but you cannot mod them. Well, not easily. There is a myriad of mods that change all kinds of aspects of the latest Capcom survival horror game. Here I am pulling together my five favorite player character mods. Get ready because there are some good ones here.
Claire Redfield Battlesuit
The reason for this mod is the battlesuit change. It is ultimately another costume but what a cool one it is. I like that Electric Navy Blue and Black Cat variation of it. I must admit Emerald Green is growing on me though.
There is a lot of work that went into this mod, even outside the costume. Check it out over on Nexusmods.com and let the developer know you appreciate their work.
Classic Claire Redfield
This mod makes Claire look more like what she did in earlier entries. Of notable change are her basic facial features and ponytail.
The modder took inspiration from Resident Evil Code Veronica and Darkside Chronicles. There are a few little changes that make it worth checking the Nexusmods page out. Too many to list here and keep this article at a readable length.
Zelda Breath of the Wild outfit
What better mashup than Zelda Breath of the Wild and Resident Evil 2 Remake? I know, there are quite a few others that come to mind first. Anyhow, this mod gives Claire an outfit inspired by Zelda Breath of the Wild, complete with motorcycle.
Resident Evil 2 meets Dino Crisis
This mod is an interesting one. You get two characters in this one. Claire Redfield is replaced by Regina while Leon is replaced by Dylan Morton. There are even some goodies to get in the RPD main hall.
There is at least one caveat with this, check out the Nexusmods page for more details.
Leon becomes Ada Wong
This mod takes Leon Kennedy completely out of Resident Evil 2 Remake. In his place we get Ada Wong. Ada has several outfits available to her as you progress. Check out the Nexusmods page for more pics.
Like I said at the start, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are cool but nothing beats the options mods bring to the PC version. What mods are your favorite? If this article is popular enough I will do a similar one for Resident Evil 3 Remake next. Until then, Resident Evil fans can enjoy these articles.
