HOMEWORK TASK-1

Entire Question

  • What is PoB? What does curation mean to you in Steem Blockchain? What are the benefits of building SP? How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why?
Explore Coinmarketcap.com to indicate rank, STEEM price, and coinmarketcap of STEEM(screenshot required)? What are the different tokens do you earn by socializing in Steem Blockchain?

Proof of Brain(PoB)

Proof of Brain or PoB means the process of distributing and redistributing the rewards from the reward pool to the authors and curators. The mechanism behind this process is very interesting to study, that means suppose someone has more Steem power then he has more ability to gain the rewards more easily than the person who hasn't enough Steem power. In this decentralized ecosystem we know that upvotes and downvotes are decided by the user as per the human wisdom.

Here authors have to create and publish good quality article without any kind of plagiarism. Therefor the other have the opportunity to make an upvote for the article and they have to prevent downvoting the original articles. Finally we can say that the whole process of the reward pool actions regarding a quality content is simply " Proof of Brain (PoB)".

Curation mean in Steem Blockchain

Curation sounds very clear that make an upvote or downvote to an author according to the set of rules in the platform is the process of curation.

Before make an upvote or downvote the person who is going to curate has to read that article carefully and then if there is something to correct he has to guide him to the correct path, this will be very useful to maintain the value and clarity of the the blockchain. And the other hand if there is any kind of plagiarized content he has to downvote and report it as the blockchain rules.

Curation value depends on several conditions. The first thing is the Steem Power of the curator and the voting time after the article is published (from 5 mins to 6 days 12 hrs ) This curation process is beneficial for both author and curator but we have to endorse the content is genuine.

Benefits of building SP

In the Steem Blockchain, steem power is a major requirement to maintain our stability so that we all need to increase our SP levels if someone need to start a long journey in this platform. From increasing steem power levels we can gain so many benefits also.

Here I like to list out major point which we can gain through the above mention process.

  • If your SP power is low then it is very difficult to work several hours in the platform because it shows your SP is not enough. Anyway with low SP posting several posts is an impossible.

  • If you have plenty of SP then you can earn additional rewards by using your SP as a curator

  • As per the mechanism of reward pool your account will lead to the rewards if your SP is high.

  • You can power up the account by using crypto exchanges and give some support to the ecosystem and make more stable the platform.

  • It directly act on community building.

Explanation about Self-upvote

I personally think Self-upvoting is a bad behavior in the steem blockchain. In Steem platform there are two roles, such as an author or a curator. As a curator we'll be able to judge the others articles and evaluate it as per the blockchain rules. Author is the person who creates the articles so that there are two different paths.

In case of that someone is going to evaluate own post it means he abuses the eco system, anyway I think it shows bad behavior of the person and also it effects negatively to the PoB system.

Explore Coinmarketcap.com

Coinmarketcap is the website we can easy find any cryptocurrency updates daily. As a person gather with crypto I often use this site to fulfil my needs. Different tokens can earn by Steem blockchain

Here we can identify four types of tokens which are given by the steem blockchain as rewards. Those rewards are as follows.

  • Steem Dollar (SDB)
This is the major token given form the blockchain to the quality contents. By using steemit wallet market we can convert these steem dollar into steem. This cryptocurrency helps to keep the steem value stable.

  • Steem Power (SP)
The most valuable thing in the steem blockchain because it directly affect to the PoB system and the satbility of the community. If someone has more SP then he will gain more rewards from the reward pool.

  • Steem
After gain som reward we have to covert it into steem by steemit wallet market doing simple trade. And the other hand this is the tradable cryptocurrency in the steem blockchain.

  • Tron(TRX)
Now a days very popular crypto in most exchanges anyhow this is directly proportional to the amount of Steem Power, that means in 1:1 ratio. As an example if you gain 25 SP Then you will gain 25 TRX also.
