The danger of a hardened heart

3개월 전

The biblical dictionary defines disbelief as a negative attitude towards the possibility or need to lend faith to someone or something. Unbelievers are those who more or less voluntarily refuse to assume the faith and live without belief.

and certainly many people currently live in a world of unbelief specifically in the divine part and there is nothing more dangerous than a person who hardens his heart before God ignoring his power and sovereignty in the universe.

Most of the people like to act and delight in vain and easy things to obtain without having to assume norms or balance in the way to act because really for many people it is easy to accept and practice things that are achieved without effort or that are delightful but if the Lord rebukes us with a truth that we do not like we could try to justify our disobedience before God which is not good

We have no excuses before God because God has spoken to mankind since ancient times so that man can understand that he is real almighty sovereign and has used hundreds and thousands of people to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and understand the truth. of God but due to rebellious ignorance and the hardening of their hearts they have not been able to understand the truth of God

It is for this reason that excuses displease the Lord since there are people who voluntarily reject disobeying the Lord with hardened hearts provoking the God of heaven.

Hebrews 3: 7-12
The rest of God's people
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
If you heard his voice today,
8 Do not harden your hearts,
As in provocation, on the day of temptation in the desert,
9 Where your fathers tempted me; they tested me,
And they saw my works forty years.
10 Because of which I was displeased against that generation,
And I said: They are always wandering in your heart,
And they have not known my ways.
11 Therefore I swore in my anger,
They will not enter into my rest. m
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, to depart from the living God;
(RNV1960)
This verse solemnly warns its readers of the dangers of unbelief since the spirit of disobedience gives rise to the wrath of God, an example of this we can look at in the people of Israel when God by their unbelief did not allow them to enter the promised land that is, God prevented them from entering the promised rest of Canaan because they hardened their hearts and began to murmur and blaspheme against God the almighty and savior of the world

It is important to note that unbelief is the product of a hardened heart due to the deceitfulness of sin and the result is apostasy and turning away from the living God the only one who can give you hope, salvation and eternal vine.
