Yesterday, the wind started to get chilly and today when Buddy the cute raccoon woke up, he was surprised to see the icy crystals forming right in front of his face. The whole glass window got frosty looking like a big chunk of ice almost. Buddy, thought that he could not go out today to visit Mr. Blackwood the man who feeds them with lots of yummy treats like hotdogs, cookies and grapes
Hello creativecoin community,
Wow, this is my fourth drawing already I can not believe it I made it this far without feeling lazy or lacking in motivation. These raccoons that I had been watching on youtube are really really cute and are part of my inspiration for these entries. If you would like to participate in the Advent Drawing Challenge here is the link so check it out. Now time to show you how I made this drawing
Buddy the friendly raccoon was easy to draw and the concept too. I thought of a character looking at a glass window in amazement that is it.
The line drawing. I love the pom poms on his bonnet it matches the furry fat tail he got. I made sure the tail looks like a third leg supporting Buddy hahaha I know raccoon tails are not meant for that but here that is what I want to show. Hope you like it.
Choosing the right colors oh boy this is the struggle for me. Sometimes I hit it but often times a miss. A violet bonnet and shades of brown then red I am not sure if these colors are working fine for Buddy. I could have stopped here and call it a day but I think it is still looking incomplete so I had to make a background and added the pine needles detail on the floor. This somehow will give a clue about the changing of the season and soon Buddy might decorate his room for the holidays.
