It was the 3rd match of the series played between Australia vs West Indies today at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. Australia won against West Indies by 6 wickets and won the three match one day series by 2-1.
West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. West Indies haven't started well. They were continuously lossing wickets. Caribbean opener Shai Hope have gone for 14 runs then one by one every batsman gone without a creditable innings. And finally packed up only for 152 runs in 45.1 overs. But Caribbean striker Evin Lewis remained unbeaten and scored 55 runs in 66 balls including 5 fours and 3 sixes.
Aussie pacer Mitchell Starc again showed his magic and took 3 wickets for 43 runs in 9.1 overs. Hazlewood picked up 2 wickets for 18 runs in 8 overs. Great economical bowling by Hazlewood. Agar and Zampa each picked up two wickets. Turner took 1 wicket.
Australia haven't started well. They have lost opener Josh Philippe and Moises Henriques early. Then Alex Carey and Mitchell Marsh made 38 runs partnership. Mitchell scored 29 runs in 21 balls including a four and 3 sixes. After Marsh wicket Matthew Wade came out and made another 34 runs partnership with Alex Carry. Then Carry have gone for 35 runs. Then Wade and Ashton Agar finished the match and both remained unbeaten. Aussie easily chased down the target in 30.3 overs. Ashton Agar scored 19* runs and Wade scored 51 runs in 52 balls including 5 fours and 2 sixes.
Caribbean bowlers have no creditable performance. Sheldon Cottrell, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Hayden Walsh each took one wicket. Ashton Agar was player of the match and Mitchell Starc was player of the series.
