Legend of Runeterra: An alternative card game for smartphones

2개월 전

For those who love card games, I suggest trying Legend of Runeterra, a free game that you can download on both Android and Apple devices. The game system is not intuitive enough at the beginning and I had to repeat several games before I started to understand how the game was structured.

Each player has an initial deck of cards with attack and defense characteristics which vary according to the chosen character. At each turn the player can choose whether to attack or choose to add one more card to his deck.

The aim of the game is to defeat the opposing cards and destroy the invisible defense which has a score that can increase or decrease based on the attacks suffered during the game.

The game graphics are nice but in my opinion the gameplay should be improved. Although I have been playing for a few days, I still do not understand many steps well.

Even Splinterlands was not very easy to understand at the beginning but the gameplay is much better and the game becomes intuitive after a few hours. The Splinterlands game system is clearer and simpler and I personally love playing cards, which are also clearly visible and more graphically appealing.

Splinterlands games are faster and shorter while Legend of Runeterra games can last several minutes, without the possibility of skipping the game and seeing the result. Splinterlands also offers many reasons to continue playing tea, which certainly gives you the chance to earn tokens and therefore money at every match.

It is an aspect of no small value and as always, over time, it is the extra gear that will bring Splinterlands to the pinnacle of the new blockchain-based gaming systems.

Hey, @claudio83!
Great run down!
This will be the last time we upvote these types of comparison posts for now. We'd rather the focus be on Splinterlands. I mean, your title didn't even imply there'd be a comparison. It came as a bit of a surprise. 🤣
Can't wait to see what new things you come up with!

Thanks so much for doing these posts though!
