Good morning everyone,
A very easy way to relieve emotional pain and stress is through drawing. Its been a very long day and I'll say its not one of my best days. Just lying down here on the bed unable to even close my eyes talk less of sleeping. I had to draw some sense to my head in order to feel better.
Its just so funny that people don't even understand. They see the smiling face and assume everything is alright with you yet its far from being ok. At the end of the day, all I have is myself to talk to myself or rather, draw to myself. That brought about the inspiration for this piece and I'll say I got some relieve within me after making this drawing.
The drawing shows a lioness calmly sitting down and looking upwards with lot of fierceness. From the drawing I told my self "I am strong and I am fierce. When I fall, I pick myself back up".
For the drawing I decided to use just stroke, something more calm to get the drawing out. I used just with primary pencil on black background and I draw on Autodesk Sketchbook. Reference photo was found here .
