Veg Cheese Balls Recipe!

Cheese usually scares me out but once in a while, its good to have especially with my favorite veg cheese balls. I always convince myself that the goodness of veggies overcomes the calories induced by cheese. That’s not true but when you eat these cheese balls, you forget all the sins that come along with it.

Tomato Ketchup, Mint Chutney

Ingredients

• 2 medium sized potatoes
• Finely chopped carrot
• Finely chopped capsicum
• Finely chopped beans
• 1 chopped onion
• 2 chopped green chillies
• Coriander leaves
• 8 bread slices
• ¼ tea spoon black pepper
• ¼ tea spoon red chilli
• ½ spoon dried mango power
• ½ spoon coriander power
• ½ spoon chat masala
• Oregano
• Salt as per taste
• Oil to fry
• 1 cup of water
• ¼ cup of milk
• 3 cheese cubes, grated

Step 1: Boil potatoes in a closed pan for about 15 minutes. Let it cool
Step 2: Peel off the potato once cold and mash them
Step 3: In the mashed potato, add all the chopped veggies and spices. Mix the mixture well.
Step 4: Now add the grated cheese to the mixture and again give it a good mix.
Step 5: Take the bread slices and cut the sides.
Step 6: In a bowl, mix water and milk.
Step 7: Now dip the bread slice in the water mixture for not more than 5 seconds. Squeeze the bread slice to drain out the water.
Step 8: Now take a small portion of the mixture and put it on the bread slice. Roll the bread to make circular balls. Make sure not to overload the bread slice. It should close properly. Repeat with all the bread slices.
Step 9: Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the balls on a slow flame for about 5 minutes.
Step 10: Let them cool for around 2 minutes. Sprinkle some chat masala from the top and serve hot with Tomato ketchup/Chutney.
