How to make delicious papaya mallow at home

how are you? I hope everyone is well.This is my first post to the Steam Food community.Papaya is a very nutritious fruit.Everyone, big or small, likes to eat papaya as a fruit.Today I thought I would make a vegetable out of half ripe papaya.I made a papaya mallow.So I thought I'd share with you how I made the papaya mallow.



  • Half ripe papaya
  • Five cloves of garlic
  • 5 green chilli pods
  • Half a chopped big onion
  • Rampe
  • curry leaves


  • 50 grams of grated coconut
  • Two table spoon of coconut oil
  • Half teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • One teaspoon of salt powder
  • One teaspoon of mustard seeds
  • One teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • One teaspoon of peppercorns

Method of prepairing:


First peel the papaya, cut lengthwise as shown in the picture and wash well.Now add chopped onion, rumpe, curry leaves.Add chopped green chillies too.

Now add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and a teaspoon of salt powder.Now add half a cup of water and mix well.Now boil it well over medium heat.


Now the coconut mixture should be made.Add 5 cloves of garlic, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon of peppercorns and 50 g of grated coconut to the blender.Blend all this well.

After grinding the mixture is as shown in the image above.

Add minced coconut mixture to boiled papaya and mix well.Put it on low heat for two to three minutes and remove from the heat.


Put another pan on the stove and add two tablespoons of oil to it.Once the oil is heated, add a teaspoon of mustard seeds.Now add the pre-made coconut and the boiled papayas.Mix everything well and turn off the stove.
