Viewing the stretch of the coast with the sun at the west, about to head beneath the mountains. There the birds are flying with the beautifully formed clouds behind, fantastic picturesque scene. I heard the bell-ringing vendor with her variety of food products. A man vehemently voicing out what he's selling "Taahoooo!". He's actually selling "taho", which is a Filipino food made of soy, or consider as silken tofu, mixed with brown sugar syrup and small tapioca balls.
Sipping on a small cup of taho as I savor the winds as it gets colder. Those breezes overpowering the heat produced by the sun the entire day. Walked around the sand with my slippers on. Stopped in a bit, removed my footwear, and headed to the edge of the sea. Waters began to splash on my feet as waves pushed to the shore. It's therapeutic.
Walked to a few-inch deeper area to feel the water as it hits my knee. It don't matter if it wets the lower edges of my shorts. All I can do is enjoy what the nature offers. Closed my eyes while feeling the breeze brushing over my face. Then I opened my eyes, smiled. I feel better.
I turned with a smile on my face, walked to where my slippers are located. Worn them, and walked in the sand. I don't mind when grains of sand inserts in my toenails. I can clean them up later. Darkness is starting to spread, and I walked back home.
Great simple moment. One thing I miss as we bear with the effects of pandemic.
