Challenge topic: Steem: The honey badger of communities, fighting to protect decentralization and DPoS.
Lies are camouflaged words that mimics the color changes of a chameleon!
The gardener arrived out of breath this morning to come and call me;"Come quickly, he is back"
I knew exactly who he was talking about, grabbed my camera and off we went.
So, we walked briskly down the road and entered mother nature's front door!
Remember the baby Dwarf Chameleon that I posted about 6 months ago?
Well it was our first time to see him again today.
Regarding the honey badger challenge human beings also have chameleon color change qualities, not in looks but rather in words.
What we say in the evening is not the same that we say the following day. It's called lies!
Something here to think about!
“People think that a liar gains a victory over his victim. What I’ve learned is that a lie is an act of self-abdication, because one surrenders ones reality to the person to whom one lies, making that person ones master, condemning oneself from then on to faking the sort of reality that persons view requires to be faked…The man who lies to the world, is the worlds slave from then on…There are no white lies, there is only the blackest of destruction, and a white lie is the blackest of all.”
― Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
Look! Here is now, an adult dwarf chameleon as long as my finger!
He watched me carefully, as he seemed to remember that I handled him once and he did not trust me!
Just so it is with us when we discover that someone lied to us!
"Let my name stand among those who are willing to bear ridicule and reproach for the truth's sake, and so earn some right to rejoice when the victory is won".
Louisa May Alcott
So we discovered some lies and the result was a determination to stand up and to gather to fend for the truth!
A community united and ready to beat the odds. A community that stands for decentralization and to defend all that we have established over the years!
Oh yes! I hear you say, yes, but the witnesses will fight for us? No. Each of us is in this fight TOGETHER! You may not lead the fight, but every one of us has a role to play behind the scenes.
"It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership".
Lies are like clouds that try to cover the strength of a mountain. There is no way ever that they can move, or hide the mountain.
We, the community is that mountain and we stand prepared for battle in the truth!
And so, whatever you do, never give up. Stay prepared and continue relentlessly to support each other on the way to victory.
We are called the Badgers! Fear None!
And That's All Folks!
