When you see your parents, remember that from your first moments of life they took care of you, protected you and gave you food, but that others do not have the same fate.
The small and vulnerable sea turtle, being just a newborn, has to leave the sand with dozens of her sisters to crawl into the water and dive under the waves.
It is preyed mainly by seagulls and other opportunistic animals both in the sand and in the depth of the water.
Only very few survive this extremely vulnerable stage. And those who reach adulthood instinctively return to the place of their birth to lay their eggs.
The small sea turtle with its clumsy gestures and bright eyes touches the hearts of many.
