Did more work on the blog to get it set up and posted the first real article there. It’ll syndicate to @kwilleywrites, but on a delay (I want to draw traffic to the site itself).
I’ve settled on a three-post-a-week schedule for it; a Monday post on whatever literary/writing thing I want, a Wednesday advice post, and a Friday post that has a short fiction piece. So with that said, the first post is on visionary fiction, a genre I’ve been working in for my MFA and one that I’ve become fascinated with as I delve into Jung.
I also did some classwork, though it was mostly just listening to stuff. I’m nominally on a two-week break, but I see no reason not to work ahead a little.
~1000 words for the blog
~3 hours of working on the blog and trying to figure out the best newsletter service that doesn’t require me to give out my physical address (settled on a Buy Me a Coffee membership system for now, but I’m looking for something free that I can send subscribers special stuff on)
12k steps. Did some reading of Jung (his Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious) and a little more of Solzhenitsyn’s Gulag Archipelago. Also some of Arendt’s Eichmann in Jerusalem, because I have too many reading projects at once.
