Good evening actifitters hope you're having a wonderful time. I wanted to talk abit about rest days. I think they're an important aspect.
Today was kind of a rest day for me, it was my lil girls 4th birthday party, her birthday was earlier this week.
But today was her birthday so where I didn't hit the gym today I still got out for some family time . Instead of training we went for a family bike ride. A slow steady pace. Nothing hardcore.

On the way back we stopped by a cafe and got a Sticky date pudding and coffee. Mind you we'd been eating cake and burgers all day! Yummie.
Right now we're chowing down on popcorn infront of the TV about to start watching a movie.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is that taking it easy is just as important as going hard. You need to give your body time to rest and recoup. Need to fill up on all those lovely sugary foods that make you feel good.
Live life, and your body also needs rest!
