Spring decided to poke its head in a little bit today and treat us to a beautiful sunny and mild day for a change.

After yesterday's long day driving and pitiful run I got s nice restful sleep and felt all the better today. I decided to go to the park in the morning instead of running and when I did hit the road in the afternoon I was pleasantly surprised to feel pretty good. My legs were just a little bit tired but my pace and overall effort was a lot better than I had anticipated. Hopefully I'll be even better tomorrow and maybe for a little more scenic route instead of the boring road course today. Not too challenging and a lot more traffic than I like.
I've just about finished my initial information sheet to send in for my 6 month ultra training plan. It will be interesting to see what it looks like coming from such an elite runner but it can only help (hopefully a lot) as I look towards a race or few this year.
Cooking up a load of ketosis dished for myself tomorrow to help get my diet on track again as I need to drop at least a good 15 pounds or so. Sigh, wish the weight came off as easy as it came on 😩😩😩
