I always tell people that kind words help and it heals. In a world where we have been taught how to be sarcastic and give it as it is, we can look beyond the dictates of the world and do what we should in making other people feel less pressured.
I heard of the story of a young man who was on his way to commit suicide. He already scribbled down his suicide note in the house and decided to go into the woods to do this.
As he was going, he met another man on the way and the man told him how good he looked. He has never received such compliments before. Everyone around him always look down on him, so he felt he was inadequate and a failure. Just a simple act of kind gesture from this man made him smile, he waited till the man was off sight and he went back home.
He scribbled in his note again that he changed his mind on suicide because someone complimented him.
The young man that complimented him didn't know what he did. He only showed kindness and the same way we would never know what our acts of kindness would do for others.
We should always spread kindness like a confetti. You never know what impact your act of kindness, or your words of kindness can do.
Be kind, always!
Thank you for your time.
