Every morning I wake up and after doing some yoga and showering I go online. As much as we try to ignore this pandemic it seems to peek its ugly face at us constantly. News of obvious food shortages loom over our heads and has been verified to us by my fathers rancher friends. Produce and meat will be hit hard with hyperinflation and never have I felt more grateful for our garden and hens! Even if you don’t have much space to grow veggies or a supply of seeds you can always regrow vegetable scraps, sprouting potato’s or yams, garlic and onions are the easiest and the best part is you can even harvest the greens to flavor your meals.
