We already entered the time of technology and will never go back unless our satellites get disabled :P Top tech companies from different countries are in a constant race to change the way robotics are implemented in people’s everyday lives. Robotic engineers are designing the next generation of robots to look and act more human. One of them is the famous robot Sophia. I am sharing a funny video of her here dating Will Smith.
The robot has realistic looking hair and skin. Can talk and act like a human and understand many things about humans and human behaviors. Can help people in the housework to save them time: and give them company.
Anki co-founder Boris Sofman said: "The robot revolution is happening. It was never going to be a single binary event and, with AI advances, it becomes more and more prevalent in our lives.
Robots will have a profound effect on the workplace of the future. They will become capable of taking on multiple roles in an organization; and even take our jobs. So far everything looks nice, but we shouldn't forget that robots can be hacked! And when that happens, we will call them killer robots. It happened in the past and can happen again and again in the future.
In August 2017 four robots being developed for military applications killed 29 humans in the lab. You wouldnt see it in the news or even hear about it, but journalist and conspiracy theorist Linda Moulton Howe told the story at the Conscious Life Expo in Los Angeles.
She said : The scariest part is that lab workers deactivated two of the robots and took apart the third. But the fourth robot began restoring itself, and somehow connected to an orbiting satellite to download information about how it could rebuild itself even more strongly than before.
The robotics company has too much to lose, and the government wants AI robot soldiers. For that reason you wont hear anything about this case. So in the near future we might walk in a city where we see robots on the borders with orders to kill every human who tries to cross the line. And what is your opinion about the topic!?
