Since you decided to downvote so many of my comments, I thought I'll upvote them cause haven't really self-voted many posts lately. I'm also going to resteem this post so others can see what the fuck you're spewing in here.

Understanding things seems difficult to do.

While I am in support of your project, this post is extemely cringy with its unfounded accusations towards one of the biggest projects working to support the whole steem userbase.
Just accept that the time of profitable bid bots is over, and start a power down. That will give you >100 liquid steem a week, which you can use for your donations.

What do we have a decentralized system for if someone else decides what you can do and what not?

He can decide to flag your post, just like you can decide to buy upvotes.

Including original comment for transparency

@acidyo, @pharesim
All in all, it was not really fair to take action with full hardness without any previous warning.
It was for a good charity and was even well documented with their remittances to the shelters.
Also, the votes bought were not so high that it would have justified such a strong action. I also think that a conversation in advance could have solved a lot of things.
There are a lot of abusers out there that need much more attention.
Btw. I also don't understand why they are deleting all content. People might have noticed the animals also afterwards they left.

Hmm... OK. Thought it was way more.

I do not see any purpose for others in these "buy votes".
Why should I pay an upvote to @nosdos for 20 STEEM at a bid bot if I could actually pay the 20 STEEM for @nosdos?
Do not be angry with me, but this fight does not have to be.

·
·
·

You are wrong. There are plenty of us that have earned our reputation by posting content that the community curated and we don’t use bid bots.

·
·

Of course, it wasn't the right path they were going down.
Look at my reputation and see how long I've been with STEEM.
I quickly realized that buying voices is not good for STEEM and the community.
Just because others do it doesn't mean I have the right to do it.
The reward pool is not meant for buying votes.

I just wanted to notice that you're showing old images :) The screenshot from discord is outdated by something like 2 weeks now. @ocdb does not take any payments or bids as far as I know.

As for the screenshot with me - @ocdb and other (bidbot)killer whales started to downvote paid votes from @tipU few days ago, as well as probably any voting service. Chill.

Alas, Steemit itself is not a charity. It can do great works through the power of community but using bidbots to buy cheap Steem to then sell in aid of your charity is both unsustainable and unacceptable as part of #newsteem where you are undermining other content creators earnings.

Hi, it was me who casted the downvote to your post, don't slander acidyo if you don't know who did what.

Buying votes is buying votes, no matter what the purpose of the rewards is for.

Oh and by the way, I don't recall anyone calling it a scam, just a general comment at charities on steem (which 99% of them have proven to be that, scams), but nobody called it directly to your project, at least not from acidyo or me which opinions represent the project.

If you have to buy votes, the community doesn't support you.
Work harder at building an audience, eh?

·
·
·

Yes, that is the problem.

Steem is not your milking cow that you can use to finance your projects (at least not via the reward pool). It doesn't matter how good your project is, buying votes is buying votes.

·
·

What has this to do with double standards? Tipu is a tool to support people, used by guys like @balte and not an abused upvotebot like buildawhale etc.

Just read the name TIPU it's not an upvote bot, but a tool/bot you can use to support authors if your own upvote isn't that high. What has balte to do with it? Well he uses the bot/tool pretty often to support other people by giving them 2$ upvotes (or so) and through him I "discovered" this bot.

You came here telling me what Steem is not there for while acting even more the way you claim to be wrong for whatever reason.

How? Did I use upvote bots on one of my last posts?

Tipu maybe was used as an upvote bot by some people but the intention was never to be an upvote bot in the means of booster, upmewhale etc. I didn't even talk about the changes that happened recently.

Our account was downvoted for receiving exactly the upvotes you are talking about.

There's a big difference between buying yourself big upvotes and supporting other people with small upvotes.

Continue your charity through curation or donations, not vote-buying profitable votes from bid bots, or you know, don't.

·

dictator and therefore taking food from the poor dogs living in shelters

guess you can add dog abuser to your list :)

Hey I'm Acid, I like cryptocurrencies especially altcoins, I think blockchain tech will revolutionize everything. My hobbies are gaming, posting/curating on Steem, investing and abusing dogs.

·
·
·
  ·  작년

Unfortunately Steemit is in worse shape right now than before HF21, there are a lot of less quality posts so the great curation rewards are made off of voting for shit posts, bid bots are alive and well, as I said before just look at what @freedom makes every day from his delegations to them, so all this high fives and back pattings are just people knowing its crap but still trying to kid themselves. In the mean time more and more people who are decent writers are leaving.

·

Absolutely not true... I for one hunt down the good stuff, resteem it and then it gets seen. I can show you many examples of this.

·
·
  ·  작년

And how many can you do this with? Not many in a day, there just isn't quality content, of course you can follow the denial path and say everything is rosy, this won't change reality.

·
·
·

there just isn't quality content

I do struggle to find it, that is true. What I find puzzling is that just isn't that hard to do it.

·
·
·
·
  ·  작년

I find that puzzling, you struggle to find it yet it isn't that hard?

·
·
·

Now which is the case, are quality content creators leaving in drovers because of EIP or is it the case that there aren't many to begin with? It can't be both. I'm doing my best to find, upvote and resteem quality posts as anyone reading my profile can attest to. You, on the other hand promised to get back to me and point out good content to me when I asked you to do so a few weeks ago. You still haven't done so.

·
·
·
·
  ·  작년

Could it be there isn't much good content? A lot of the better authors have left, mainly because they are making a lot less, could it be because of circle jerking? If you can't find good content, what makes you think I can? The same content is out there, most of it stinks, the only content getting any votes is the newsteem, downvotes are great type of content. And that isn't good content.

·
·
·
·
·

I haven't complained about a lack of good content. In fact, I have observed many great content creators see a tenfold increase in their rewards. For example, @boddhisattva has started to get rewards worth several dollars or sometimes even more than $10 in rewards for his photography posts. To my joy, the rewards of @digitalis have jumped from tens of cents to dollars, often at or close to $10. Both are pretty good photographers, @digitalis in particular, whose insect macros should've been rewarded at a much higher level than they were prior to #newsteem. Then there's the illustrious @paulmp, a very skillful professional landscape photographer who used to make a couple of dollars per post before HF21 and who now regularly makes double digit bucks. His most highly rewarded post made something like $60. At last, PoB is working!

I don't believe you, at least not without any kind of proof, that there has been an exodus of quality content creators post HF21 and because of HF21. What I've seen is many shitposters who have stopped posting altogether because their pending rewards got rightfully downvoted to oblivion.

Well you can of course believe what you will, but I think you just have to look a little beyond your group and you will see things are quite different from what you think they are. I hope you are right and I am wrong, something tells me this is not so though.

Please mention one good author who has seen their rewards go down after HF21 and ¨who has left the platform since.

No one ever stumbles across a Steem article with a google search. Why? Because no one reads anything at Steem. The votes are coming from the list view or the article is clicked, scrolled down to voting and then the back button is hit. Biggest achievement is someone flying over the text and giving a useless comment in hope to get a small upvote. Any talking about "quality posts" is just dreaming.
The 7 days monetization limit guarantees no one will ever read it again afterwards.

Sehr trauriges Ende eures großartigen Projektes. Im Namen aller bellenden Freunde, ein ganz dickes Dankeschön für euren unermüdlichen Einsatz und alles alles Gute!

There are parts of this explanation I do not understand. Pieces not explained.

Akward Qustions

The folks who were buying bidbot votes to support this charity, who were they? Did they have any deals worked out with the charity? Are you claiming it is mostly random people paying bidbots to support the charitable posts? How much money were the bidbots profiting by people paying them to upvote these charitable posts? Do you understand why people might not appreciate that bidbots were being regularly paid sums of money in exchange for upvotes?

Encouraging Questions

Were the downvoters balancing out the bidbot votes with equal value? Or for additional downvote value, or less downvote value? Are people who previously paid bidbots to support the charitable posts now using more effective methods to fund and promote the charity than supporting bidbots?

Can somebody help me understand if there is a middle ground here that will smooth things out so the charity can continue operating? It sounds like a good cause that should be given the same fair chance as anyone else. A lot of people care about animals and want to support those who are going above and beyond to help them find good homes.

@acidyo please consider removing the flags on @nosdos posts.

I follow the project for nearly a year now. It's truly a charity project.

If you don't believe me, there are enough transparency posts with screenshots of the money going to the dog shelters..

@nosdos you probably have to stop buying votes..

·
  ·  작년

Have no reason not to believe you nor the charity but we're not going to remove votes on profitable bid bot votes cause that would be unfair to everyone else.

@nosdos you probably have to stop buying votes..

This post spreading misinformation and dumb shit like "lol they self-voted their own post 100%" when it clearly says in the post who the rewards will go to and the next one has beneficiaries up doesn't make me want to give this person a second thought.

·
·

c'mon acid.

you selfvote for a good result and building.

and nosdos bought some votes (not even much or too much) for charity.

kinda seems like 2 good use cases for me. why fight against each other?
nosdos is reacting like that cuz they already had some big trouble with steemcleaners who also demanded way too much..

People come here for freedom and cuz a new freedom giving technology and then are forced to doxx themselves..
We really have some bigger problems/ leeches on this platform.

We do and that's the ones we're trying to fight off since 95%+ of all bid bot votes land on exactly those. Sorry but you can't expect us to dig deep into each downvote, who bought it for who, which one is a legitimate charity and not when it doesn't even really matter cause a profitable bid is profitable and unsustainable and if we don't downvote it then we're back to all bid bots selling votes, giving delegators higher ROI than curators and overall curation decreasing again. We're already trying to let people know why the downvotes are coming in the first place and having to daily explain ourselves on the chain and in dms cause they either can't be bothered to understand why or just don't want to, hence I resteemed this cause at this point I'm too tired to do more explaining when this user reacts like this and is oblivious to any reasoning:

on the other hand props to everyone who responded in an understanding and supportive manner to the downvotes and the EIP. Rather spend more time on those users than these.

[...] I'm too tired to do more explaining[...]

oh you poor guy, rescuing steem with downvotes lol

when i use a bidbot to give someone a higher reward, because my VP is too small to pay a good article a fair amount of money whats bad?

but you are a hero, when flagging every post who has a bidbot upvote "and giving the mony back to the reward pool for the amazing articles of other people"

Sorry but you can't expect us to dig deep into each downvote, who bought it for who,

thats exactly why your strategy is shit, you can not generalize every bidbot upvote as "bad and destructable" for steem.

ps: i dont see ocd curating great newcomer articles, to me its seems more like ocd is curating who ingratiate you😂

why do you show this screenshot? you can not downvote other people and expecting them to do nothing. When you downvote others you have to live with getting downvoted.

you are police of steem right?😂

I tried my best, have a nice evening :)

"You probably have to stop buying votes.."

This is not going to happen.

Fun fact at the end, this account never bought an upvote...

Where is the problem then?

4USD is a lot regarding current prices. Maybe you should power these steem up instead of selling them.
At current prices it's not worth to sell steem. Also the SP would help your account and you could power it down when prices are higher again.

The next altseason is already coming. :)

resteem

this ocd shit is dumb af, strange vote circles, massive self voting - makes no sense that they are downvoting users like you.

Hey @nosdos, here is a little bit of BEER for you. Enjoy it!

Mit Glueck ein !BEER. Ich wünsche einen schönen Tag

Please just keep going, don't bother and stop using bit bots - just power down. Greetings, Manni
