While checking my coins in STEEM ENGINE in noticed Splinterlands' in game token, DEC, was REALLY low in price. And to some this would be worrisome. But not me. Instead I immediately dumped a portion of another coin I had laying around...A crappy one here lately, called Bitcoin, and bought up a small chunk of what was available.
I know some people who would lose their head if they knew I traded my precious BTC for something as unheard of as DEC. But I have a huge belief in Splinterlands, the devs, and the community that follows them. And I can say I believe I will look back on this and be extremely content with my decision.
....But how much did I buy???
Well, as much as I could afford to loose of course. As a matter of fact I'm so excited about it...let me show you.
You read right, I am now the owner of over 200,000 DEC and I have to say, I feel like I'm on top of the world now. I simply need to HODL the crap out of this stuff until it's value is like gold.
I HOPE IT HELPS THE GAME
On top of the fact of what this does for me, there is an even bigger reason I'm so excited about this....I think a lot of these people I bought DEC from were wanting to participate in the Splinter lands kickstarter but didn't have the money to. So I am hopeful that through me buying their DEC, they will be able to participate. As a matter of fact, if you sold DEC to participate in the Kickstarter let me know below...I have a little upvote for each of you to show my appreciation.

Splinterlands belongs perfectly in the #newsteem community due to its love for the block chain, it's amazing sense of success and it's lack of being able to be stopped. As newsteem takes off and continues it's growth and stronghold I am glad that Splinterlands is here to help prove at least one real world use for our amazing chain and token! They compliment each other really well and I am so excited to be invested in both!!!

Yes and the devs are working hard to expand. Aggy is currently in Korea and met with a bunch of different groups of companies and investors. I believe they are in love with the game. And so for the current Kickstarter/fundition has raised over 300,000 USD. So i believe they are growing. And truthfully, while all my other digital assets have plummeted, my cards and other Splinterlands investments are all going up as they grow.
Nice, I think your assessment is correct about people selling their DEC to get enough or get more Steem(p) to participate in fundition. I was considering the same but no way I sell my DEC at current prices as I believe it will be much more valuable in the future. So instead I spent some of my useless fiat.
Thanks brother. I'm glad you held on to it. When was the last time a fist currency has actually been worth anything tangible or gone up in value? I know that's not how it goes here.😁 And i wish you luck as well on yours too my friend.
