We are finite, He is Infinite. We had a beginning, He has no beginning. Everlasting refers to Eternal. The Eternal God! The Eternal Father. No beginning and no end. In the Beginning God Was. Set apart from everyone else. God alone, God Eternal.
Our Text refers to the coming Messiah. This is a Messianic Promise and a reference to the Messiah. Where God would become flesh and dwell with man. Jesus, the Everlasting.
