Hello beautiful family. Hope you all are doing great today. I say happy weekend to you all.
We stopped at verse 13 of our reading yesterday and today, we will continue from verse 14 through 19.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Let's pause here before we continue. To me, the above looks self explanatory as God made light to fill the firmament, I mean the sky and to divide the day from the night. Both the night and day has its own light but different kinds. How awesome God is. He didn't just make the light for that period but He said for seasons, for days and for years.
Do you know how many years the world has been in existence? Long over 2000 years. Wow. God spoke for that long and its still manifesting till today. The day has its own light and the night has its own kind of light.
The greater one to rule the day of course and the lesser light for the night. Hmmmmm interesting.
Don't forget we are dealing with the book of Genesis 1. Now, moving on to verses 17-19.
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.
And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
Again, the scripture says God saw what He did and it was good. Who will say today that the light during the day and night isn't good? No one. God over all. I pray that may God make everything in our lives good and pleasing in His sight in Jesus name. Amen.
Thanks so much for reading...
Till I come your way next time...
