Steemfest ticket contest

Tell me about yourself, what you have done for Steem, and why you would like a free ticket. The two best answers will win. Votes don't determine the winner but may influence the judging. The judge is me. My decisions are final and arbitrary.

Hello community and @smooth, please give me some of your time to explain to you why I would be a good candidate to win one of the tickets for the steemfest.

Who I am?

My name is Jean-Pierre, I am 20 and I am half German half and French. I am living in Germany and I am studying electrical engineering. I joined Steem a little bit more than a year ago after @detlev introduced me to it.

DSC_1609.JPG

What I did already on Steem and for Steem?

I started small on Steem like most of us. Shortly after my Introduceyourselfpost I joined the Whaleshare community founded by @officialfuzzy. I meet there a lot of interesting people that helped me a lot at the beginning.

I also got a lot of help from the German and French community that I joined on steemit.chat and later on Discord. There I got a delegation of 500 Sp from @twinner for curating german posts. Later I tried to give something back to those amazing communities by translating the FAQ in the French language , helping @ixindamix to create the French curation guild @francosteemvotes that now become one of the biggest French community servers and by delegating to different German newcomer during the time of the bandwidth issues.

But probably the best thing that happened to me here on steemit was that I became a @ocd curator with gave me the possibility to support a lot of new steemians with bigger vote and a lot more visibility. It also gave me the possibility to curate even more.

Sometime ago I also started to play @steemnova, a browser strategy based game that rewards player in steem. There I meet a lot of great peoples and got with them our alliance on place 1. Since the game is still in beta I had there the chance to make a lot of bug reports and suggestions to improve the game.

The last thing I will mention here is that you probably seen that I am bit late with this comment and that I was a little bit inactive the last month, the reason for that is that I just came home from some long holidays. During this holidays I delegated away a large part of my SP to different projects the community recommended to me.

Why I'd like a free ticket

I would like a free ticket because I heard how amazing it was last year. Last year I was really new on steem and I was too shy to go Portugal for something I barely knew, but now I am really engage in the community, made a lot of friends and the place of the steemfest is not far away so the travel cost will not even be high. Also as a student I don’t have a lot of money and this steemticket will be hard to pay if I don’t win one somewhere, I would prefer to not power down.

Thanks for reading

Jean-Pierre

P.S. This is certainly the longest comment I ever wrote.
P.P.S. If I win a tickets all the liquide reward from this comment will go to @steemfestdreams so other people can also win one.

·

@jeanpi1908 is the way to go. He is very active in French and German communities as well as curating for OCD. It would be great to see him at SF!

·

This guy certainly deserves to win a ticket to Steemfest! A great Steemian and one of the most active curators I know, he also delegated to @travelfeed and other curation projects during his vacation - thanks a lot!

·

my fav !

·

@jeanpi1908 is one of the good ones on Steemit. He helped my personally by delegated me SP just because I approached him with my last big project. I did not even know him before, but he helped me out anyway. Such a nice guy! On the other hand his work at @ocd is also great for the Steemit community. He is also active in different community on Steemit because of his ability to speak German, French and Englisch. @jeanpi1908 would be a wise choice!

·

I think @jeanpi1908 would be great choice! He's been an active curator and member of the Steem community for over a year now, helping countless steemians through curation with @ocd and on his own. I vote jp!

·
·

Your support means a lot for me.

·
  ·  3년 전

@jeanpi1908 is very active Steemian for many months (over one year :o). Would be unfortunate not to meet him at steemfest ;) You have my support!

·

I have met @Jeanpi1908 as a very dedicated and helpful Steemian who, since he has been active on the chain, is always working to strengthen the community! Especially his services to the German/French community are sustainable and genuine! His work as @ocd curator rounds it all off! Steemit needs more committed people like @jeanpi1908 who honestly and sustainably do something for this community.

I can't think of anyone who deserves that steem ticket more than Jean-pierre.

Ps: He is a very talented @Steemnova player :P

Greetings and good luck my friend,

Benny

·

Thank you for this nice comment, will you be there?

·

I think that together we can do the OCD curators' corner. Of course, you should be there!

·

@jeanpi1908 is a nice person, smart, and humble. He is a good curator as well. I am sure he will have lots of ideas for Steem to develop in the future, especially after he visit SteemFest. Good luck!

·

It would be great to have him on Steemfest3. He certainly deserves to be there. JP dedication towards project he is doing are exceptional. Not to mention, his contribution has helped several communities thrive on steemit. So, if he could be there, it would be nice that after the event he'd get more ideas to contribute within the community.
Good luck JP 😊

Hi @smooth

Thanks for this great opportunity! It's really cool to see some of the major stakeholders putting out contests off their own back to help reduce the cost of Steemfest.

About me

I'm 39, from the UK, and currently live in Mallorca, Spain. I moved here a couple of years ago due to the urgent requirement for more sunshine in my life, SAD was hitting me harder each year - taking the doctors medicine and feeling like a zombie wasn't cutting it.

I left the world of IT to buy a jewelry shop with friends, got told I was crazy by other friends, and after that didn't work out, went back to IT working for the United Nations in Valencia.

I was introduced to Steem, Steemit, blockchain tech, and cryptocurrency via @stephenkendal and twitter in August 2016, and at the end of August last year, decided to focus on Steem full-time.

I would say i'm fairly shy - prefer listening over talking, a beer helps. I'm into sunshine, cycling, and I'm OK with holding doors open for people and being used as a mule when things need moving around.

And, I'm not at all comfortable with talking about myself, so i'm glad that part is over with!

Steem

I suppose the main items people on here know me for are my lists, pie charts, and the weekly Engagement league which I have been hosting since the beginning of the year.

Without a huge footprint on social media elsewhere, I decided, and mainly fell into this role as someone who pushes engagement on the platform. My content is mixed, but I do tend to produce posts which create a good level of responses - this is mainly down to offering personalized lists or pie charts, relating to ones engagement, voting activity, etc.

@arcange's scripted reply drops by quite often to let me know my content is well received and responded to:

This level of interaction requires a lot of time on my part, and looking at the busiest respondents of 2018 (ordered by comment summation and removing the auto-responding bot accounts) I've scraped into the top 10. (data pulled this morning).

All but one of these accounts currently takes part in the Engagement League, and there are another 30/40 members in the top 100 across the blockchain this year.

The engagement league has earned the support of @curie to allow me to reward the top placings with some STEEM each week. @carlgnash is an integral part of @curie and has this to say with regards to engagement and the Engagement League (33 seconds):

My witness partner @paulag, who is also a keen analyst, has produced content looking at engagement and account retention, here on Steem, and has this to say in that regard (25 seconds):

The goal of our witness is to be a supportive umbrella for the existing and new communities on Steem. We'd like to support, via delegations and votes, and be the connecting part between them, to try and provide opportunity for them to work together, and not become siloed. It's early days, and a big ask - we're working on it :)

Other things I'm proud of, and see as bringing value to the Steem community are:

  • I'm a @utopian-io Community Manager (analysis) and review contributions of this category and involve myself in weekly meetings for the project, which I believe has shown to be one of the best things to come out of Steem in the past year

  • I curate for @curie, when I find the time, and appreciate what they do with regards to finding new and undervalued content, with the goal of rewarding and retaining these solid content creators

  • The @adollaraday project, run by @pennsif, receives a weekly donation from myself, which is then passed forward to charities/projects chosen by @pennsif

  • As it stands I currently have a proxy vote worth 800+ MVESTs, thanks to @fulltimegeek. I wear this like a badge of honor and am not aware of an account as small as mine that has been entrusted with this.

Why I'd like a free ticket

Last year I had fiat in the bank to cover the costs for myself and my ex-girlfriend to get to Portugal. I was aware of the @t-r-f, but opted out of that as I felt others needed it more.

I was sick and missed a day of conferences, but what I did see and learn has made me determined to make it this year, and try to remain well!

The number of projects and initiatives on the Steem blockchain, even back then, was growing rapidly, and Steemfest provided a really good opportunity to catch up on and listen to first-hand, on what I'd not seen here.

I expect to their be even more happening this year as we progress closer to SMT testing and release, something that I view as the potential driver to push Steem into the mainstream.

It is for this reason, and the fact i'm a lot more strapped for cash this year, that I would love to win a ticket to the event. Thank you once again for providing this opportunity, and for taking the time to read my reply.

Cheers

Asher

·

There are many reasons why I feel that Asher deserves to win this opportunity, some have already covered here in this comment thread. But the one that has always stuck out to me, and what made me a fan of his, is his passion for this platform.

While many know that being a yes man here is the best way to line your pockets, Asher chooses to stick to his principles and say what needs to be said... for the good of the platform. You can’t help but respect him for that, even if you don’t fully agree with him.

He spends hours upon hours not only encouraging engagement, but living and breathing it ...all while fighting for the future success of this place, no matter the cost.

When given the opportunity to throw his weight around (with the fulltimegeek proxy), he still stayed true to those principles. Making sure every decision he makes with that given honor truly does impact the platform in a positive way. His actions speak volumes, and I think he is an important part of the future success of this place.. and that future starts at SF3.

·
·

Thank you for this lovely comment @llfarms!

·

Sending Asher to Steemfest goes far beyond a ticket for a single individual. Asher heads up a large community. We meet each week to compare engagment and curation scores but it does not end there. Many of us interact all through the week. We often meet up in Ashers comment threads, where he shares with us the stats we can use to grow and thrive.
He has created a far reaching network as well. More often than not the message from his post is shared as the league members use his information in the creation of their own content.
The enthusiasm and love of the platform has created a core of members extremely loyal to Steemit and dedicated to it's survival and growth.
To send Asher to Steemfest is to send a representative of this growing community.

·
·

Thank you very much for this awesome supportive comment @headchange!

·
·
·

Thanks still rooting for you to make it. Good luck.

·

Hope you succeed. We need an Irish voice over there :) lol. Joking aside, You are involved in positive projects in the Steemit community. You have a positive outlook to the future of Steemit and its ability to fill future needs. That positivity is needed at the Steemfest.
Plus we need an Irish rep there.

·
·

Thanks very much @thehive, I agree we do need Irish representation, but I'm not Irish :D @paulag, @eroche, @demotruk could be who we need.......

·
·
·

You can be Honorary Irish for the trip

·
·
·
·

I don't think they'd consider an Englishman to honor them for a second! :D

·
·
·
·
·

I'm Irish. I will. We can break down borders. Let's step over the invisible lines we never see and walk forward together.

·

If ANYbody deserves to win a ticket, it's Asher!

Not only is he "Mr. Engagement" and one of the hardest working people in the community, he co-runs a witness, he delegates, he encourages newcomers... and all the stuff you've already read about him.

But here's a thing that's important for Steemit, as a whole: The participants in the weekly Curation and Engagement Leagues NOT ONLY create a significant percentage of all quality content on the platform; it's member retention rate is multiple times higher than the platform as a whole... and I know retention (or the lack of) is an issue here.

Now you might think "Yeah, that's Steemit, not STEEM. What about the overall STEEM blockchain?"

Like it or not, Steemit may just be "an experiment," but it remains the de-facto "front window" onto the Steem Blockchain. And that impression will not separate anytime soon. If Steemit isn't thriving, it reflects on Steem. And Asher is probably doing more to help Steemit thrive than any other person I can think of. And that's good for Steem, and the blockchain.

·
·

Smooth is going to think I'm paying some of you guys.

Thank you for this reply @denmarkguy, it is appreciated very much.

·

awesome reply/entry. I really hope you win a ticket. you put a tonne of effort and time into steemit and as a fulltime steemian while the prices are so low well this shows massive dedication . I for one hope you win a ticket. But it looks like I am not the only one that want to make sure you get to steemfest....the support here goes to show

·

I wish you all the best here mate, I know how many others think the same as me too.

·
·

Thank you, and thanks for the message on the post before I even arrived.

Quite overwhelmed with the support here!

·
·
·

I think she is working on it :D

·

I hope you do win and are able to go. @ned should provide you a ticket and have you as a featured speaker talking about retention, and how best to increase engagement on steemit, to make steem a more palatable cryptocurrency to investors.

·
·

ha! Love it :D

Pity I'm a terrible speaker and the vast majority of people don't care so much about retention as long as the $$$ is arriving right now.

Thank you!

·

Good luck Asher!!! You totally deserve to win this and you could represent all us wee folk who you work tirelessly to help all of the time :) My fingers are crossed for you buddy!

·
·

Hey Lynn, thank you very much for dropping in to show support. Tired, I am, (of pie especially right now) but I'll do my best to stay awake at the festival if I get there :D

·
·
·

You're welcome Ash; I sure hope all this work pays off for you :)

·

This is one dude who deserves the ticket!

·

Yes please @smooth, my voice joins the chorus of "One ticket for Asher", and the rest sez it all.

·
·

Mr Barge 🙏🏼 Thank you kindly.

·

Who if not you, Asher? You are @misterengagement himself, and I can't even imagine a Steemfest without you :-) Best of luck for the competition!!!

·
·

ha :) Ooo, that name isn't taken....

Thanks for your support Marly! See you there, win or lose, I hope :D

·
·
·

Haha, you may want to make sure that the account is yours though :-)

·
·
·
·

I didn't take it, maybe if it's there tomorrow 😊

·

Honestly if it wasn't because of Ashers Engagement League I would have given up on this platform months ago, it was there where I met @techslut, my first ever supporter and the major reason why I was motivated to stick with the platform. So yeah his Engagement League really is something and have helped some planktons and minnows. Good Luck Asher! :)

I think a comment would be just as, if not more, beneficial. Thanks!

I once felt that as a beginner I was greatly appreciated when the "great master" paid little attention to our existence. One of the things that made me comment on this place was because I felt the benefits of mutual help and mutual development. I initially tried the @paulag program and there was an @abh12345! I believe that its role and concern are real and I wish you success in this contest. thank you and God bless you Asher.

Thank you so much for putting this contest out and selecting me as one of the winners!!!

Hi @smooth! I salute your action and the way you want to help two Steemians to come to Steemfest

I see here all kinds of applications and would like to nominate two fellow Steemians or to sustain their application.

From all nominations, I fully support the two youngsters, @guyfawkes4-20, and @jeanpi1908. I don't say that the other Steemians are not that worthy, but my choice will go with this two one.

I will not go deeply on their achievements on Steem as they presented it.

I will just say this, we need young motivated blood. These guys have two together the age combined lower than most of the applicants. One is 18 and I know him since he was 17 and started and the other is 20 and I know him since he is 19. At the start, I was thinking they both are over 30 by the way they act and think. Being so young their finances and means of income are definitely lower than on older guys.

I wished I would be so focused on building at this young age.

I'm 35 and come to an age where I can handle a family and my life from a financial point of view. It should be natural that at midlife one can sustain himself and don't need a sponsoring. I know life can hit you, but mostly is a matter of choice.

Also, in my opinion, one should focus on growing the younger generation. For me, this age has come and besides taking care of my dear ones, I try to foster young motivated people.

Hope you take my comment into account and reflect about it.

P.S.: Rewards from this comment will be used as a delegation for a project on Steem

·

Alex is (like always) totally right :)
The tickets should go to the youngsters who just can't afford going there, be it because they are still studying or just don't earn as much as the old folks ;)

And I'm sure both deserve the ticket according to their achievements anyway.

So good luck @jeanpi1908 and @guyfawkes4-20, let's hope you get the chance! :)

And thank you alex for your concern for others :)

·

I support the nomination of both candidates, @guyfawkes4-20 and @jeanpi1908.
Both are young steemians who should be given the opportunity to meet the worldwide community on Steem fest and thus be given the chance to network for their good and their work here on steem.

I approve this message!
:)

·

die beiden @jeanpi1908 und @guyfawkes4-20 hätten es absolut verdient......und so wie du sagst @alexvan, natürlich auch noch einige andere!!

·

Thank you a lot for your support, it means a lot for me and also for guy to get your support.

·

Thank you for your comment, Alex! Both JP and I surely appreciate the help. I think you're making a valid point over there, I hope more people see what you mean. Looking forward to meeting you at SteemFest. :D

·

I already wrote a support comment for @guyfawkes4-20 as I really think he should be there. I work with him and @alexvan to set up and make an efficient community, actually able to put knowledge out there and follow it up with targeted know-how into various subjects for new people to grasp.
I don't know @jeanpi1908, but him being a proposal from @alexvan I would trust he has his good reasons for proposing him. I followed him now as he looks like someone who would deserve to be followed.
We need to promote young people with energy and will to change something and invest their time in Steem. They could amount to great things if we look at their success in the past.

·

·

Not sure if that is over already but totally supporting this one here - bring over some newbies that help to shape the future profile of Steemit. A lot others sure might also deserve but these would be my first choice.

here is my VOTE for that two!!

Good luck to @jeanpi1908 and @guyfawkes4-20

Hey @smooth,

I am Zach aka @theuxyeti. Im 41, living in Los Angeles and UX / UI / VD / IA and QA are my career skills and passions. I was introduced to steem by @fame360 a colleague of mine whom raved about Steem but ultimately checked out within weeks of my intro. I however stayed on, learning the ropes and trying to digest the complex steemit website. After tinkering, asking questions, landing myself in a place called discord (no idea what that was), meeting @patrice and @fulltimegeek whom helped me gain my steemlegs by delegating steem to me as a kind gesture whom have become great online friends. I guess @patrice folks and family used to watch me when i was on USA's CBS's Big Brother 8 in 2007, we instantly connected, and @davemccoy spearheading the @friendsofgondor while i was a @stewardsofgondor with @fulltimegeek allowed a great relationship we all still have by delegating me 1000 sp for 2 months for posting great content before his big battle.

Later I met @ma1neevent , @snekky, @shadowspub, @freedomexists all whom are great online friends whom allowed me on their radio show @mspwaves, whaleshares and steemit ramble to discuss my original plans of chatting about reality tv. In the process i happened to be on the same show where i met @aggroed whom mentored me and took me under his wing teaching me and growing me into the voice i have become today. With his support through @minnowsupportproject I was able to meet all kinds of great community mates like @ausbitbank and @v4vapid.

Ultimately i killed the reality idea and evolved into being a community voice for Steemit's conflicts and UI issues and ultimately landing me in my career niche of weekly posts about diagnosing the UI issues that steemit.com and busy.org have and establishing a history of articles wrapped around how constructively can we assist the creative dept's of these platforms to hear the voice of its users and potentially work some of these ideas into future updates to the platform.

This voice was heard. Thousands of steemians replied to my posts all in support of feature changes. With little to no response at that time from steemit as they had different goals, i decided to build a New UI for the people and challenging key areas that needed a better solution like: user adoption, user retention, content saving and personalization.

From these posts evolved @Sugarsteem.

sugarsteempng.png

Sugarsteem is a more personalized Steemit experience. The point of Sugarsteem was to get people enthusiastic about an alt platform that may be easier for them to use vs the others. The goal of it is to increase user retention and accomodate a wider range of users that are used to other social platforms by making the UI easier to use.

It is currently in the works and the base code will be released end of month. After 6 months of trying to find the right people i found two technical whizz's @beggars and @krnel. If you're interested in joining our discord check us out at https://discord.gg/RAHDtzt .
As anyone knows if you do all the work alone, you are at the mercy of a slow implementation. I had to trust in others to help carry this torch and found them in active discords ready and encouraged to continue new development on steem.
A project beyond proof of concept but falling short still of live, it will make it to the steem blockchain i assure you. Its my contribution goal for the year and for steem.

Other Contributions to Steemians and Steem Projects

  1. I built the UI for https://thegoodwhales.io/index.html
  2. I QA'ed on @fredrikka @steempress logo to assist in perception checks

  5. I QA'ed a touch on @blocktrades application. Just helping where i can, when i can.
  6. I am a game designer assisting the build of @steemmonsters under @yabapmatt and @aggroed
  7. I've become a member of @timcliff 's Steem Economy website https://steemeconomy.com/the-ux-yeti/
  8. I've QA'ed a touch on @dtube and with @heimindanger on some functional issues with dtube
  9. I've QA'ed a touch on @dlive discussing mobile uploading conflicts and live streaming
  10. I've QA'ed on @smartsteem with @therealwolf finding issues, typos, functionality conflicts on that application
  11. Created a discord of 50 users to discuss new features UI for Steem application UI under Sugarsteem. https://discord.gg/RAHDtzt
  12. Been invited to join the Steemdev Slack Channel to contribute growth value to steem and steemit. Along this journey I have met amazing people I'm hoping are attending the event. People like @lukestokes, @acidyo, @themarkymark, @gtg, @pfunk, @howo, @elear, @roelandp, @blocktrades, @followbtcnews & @transisto just to name a few. I feel like all of you have been a significant part of my growth here on Steem.

I always try to make time for people, their questions, their criticisms and ultimately hope I'm adding value to Steem and to Steemit.com I really value the relationships I've made. There are tons of great people on here if take the time to get to know them. I love the transparency and illusion of meeting people without knowing what they look like. Who knows i could be talking to catfish LOL... But overall My urge to attend steemfest go in a few directions.

11196227_890512181007338_1392018444996557885_n.jpg

  1. Never been to Europe in 41 years. This will be my first time
  2. Im Polish and my Dad has never been. His health won't allow the trip. Itd be a great way to see the place of where we were made :) Document, and possibly have a facetime if we have wifi.
  3. Finally i get a chance to meet the leadership team of Steemit.com as well as these amazing contributors and new faces all in one place that could really spark a LOT of new Possibilities.
  4. I feel like representing SugarSteem to some degree. Having spent 8 months working through steem issues and UI solves I think it'd be smart to be there. I'd love to document community blockers for how to help resolve their ailments to the UI.
  5. Creating new lifetime friendships is key. My goal of 2018 for new years resolution was to try Steem for a year and see where i land. This would be the highlight of my year.

Please consider me for a ticket to this event. I feel SO behind after 8 months here, and am really ambitious and passionate about continuing to add value and growth to the community. There have been moments where my persistence has impeded friendships on here and for that I am sorry and would love to personally handshake and buy you a beer. Im an aries sometimes we can't help it. But overall I want to attend so that I can continue to provide value, create friendships and establish a presence in the community. I am so reluctant to travel but excited to do so either way. @smooth Please consider me for a ticket.

Thanks so much.

I support the Yeti and think he is well deserved of a trip to Steemfest. The work he is doing with @sugarsteem could have a great positive impact.

·
·

much appreciation. Im happy to have online mates like you that see what im trying to accomplish :) thanks

·

I highly vouch for @theuxyeti... He is very talented and also works very hard on Steem based projects to make the experience for us all better every day!

·
·

Thank you!

·

I also think Yeti deserves this. A man with tremendous class and someone I trust, and that is a very short list.

·
·

Thanks dude!

·

One way or the other, Zach, I'm going to see you in Krakow! :-)

·
·

Let’s hope so! Definitely would love to go!

Hi @smooth, first I'd like to say thanks for the opportunity this contest presents.

My name is Rowan, @raj808 on steemit. I have been writing nearly every day on steemit for over a year. My blog is made up of a wide range of content including, short stories, poetry, travel articles, scuba diving articles, articles relating art and comedy posts.

I have just passed my 1 year steemit anniversary (2 weeks ago) and in that time I have been involved helping to improve many steemit communities, as well as the platform on the whole.

Everything I've done.... Hmnnn, get ready for a list 😉

  • Curie curator - I have been working as a curator for @curie for 10 months now (since late October 2017), helping to reward undervalued content on steemit by hunting down exceptional content. Curie is an essential mechanism for user retention on steemit and, I feel, it's us curators who keep those cogs oiled. All of my earnings from curie have been powered up and I have never taken anything out of steemit apart from 40 or 50 steem 7 months ago when the market was at its peak.

  • I am involved with @isleofwrite behind the scenes as a resident curator, keeping track of the excellent creative work that the members of that community produce and recommending for curie curation when possible.

  • I worked as a fiction/poetry mentor in @promo-mentors for 4 months. During this time I helped many steemians with full proofreads of their work. I studied creative writing in university and prided myself on giving comprehensive editing advice to the same level that we were taught in university writing workshops.

  • I ran a segment on the Monday night show @whaleshares called Literary Corner. In this segment I invited some of the most talented creative writers (in the fields of poetry and fiction) on to the show to discuss and, in some cases, perform their work. This show also rewarded these steemians with large whaleshares upvotes helping encourage and reward quality on the steemit platform.

  • I have been involved with the @comedyopenmic community a little with helping promote their Spanish section and with an upcoming judging role.

  • I have recently become involved with @sndbox as a cohort member and am actively contributing to their community with content and hopefully soon by writing a few articles for the @creativecrypto magazine.

  • I also have become involved with an amazing writing contest, and community, called Finish the Story Competition. This is one of the most fun creative writing catalysts I've found on steemit, if you are stuck for creative inspiration, this contest will sort you out every time. Also, there is a dedicated, friendly and tight-nit community of writers around the comp which really makes it something special. Check out the link to learn more about the competition. I have contributed by writing one of the beginnings for week 22, have helped out with judging and delegated some steem to the home of the competition, @bananafish.

  • Finally, I have helped set up a charity (as part of the sndbox summer camp) on the steem blockchain called @projectgiving which I hope to promote at steemfest 3. This charity is a fully accountable blockchain charity with far-reaching ambitions of engaging mainstream press with our future achievements. This will, hopefully, help to drive the push toward mass adoption. I you'd like to read more about what I have done in helping build the charity, check out the Accountability Model and our first competition/Community Challenge.

I am now working pretty much full time on steemit and have put my heart and soul into the platform over the last year, and a huge amount of my creative work which has been published here exclusively. I'm sure that we are just in a holding pattern in regards to the market, but the downturn has left me struggling to be able to pay my bills and rent, let alone a ticket to steemfest. All of this work I've put in has been at a time in my life when I have been suffering with a chronic GI (gastrointestinal) condition which limits my capabilities severely. I have not really talked about that side of my life much on steemit until recently and if you'd like to hear more about these issues and what I'm doing to try and solve them, here is a recent dtube video I produced called Juice Fast for Healing Challenge.

In conclusion, I'm trying for a free ticket as there is no chance I will make it to steemfest otherwise. I would very much like to attend to promote @projectgiving, myself as a blogger, network with tech people around a creative idea I have toward bringing traditional publishing entities to steemit, learn more about all sides of the technical aspects of this blockchain and network in general while promoting both curie and sndbox.

·

Soon It will be my 1st birthday on this platform too.. I did a couple of things and met a lot of interesting steemians.. In my experience @raj808 has been a true selfless friend and he supported our community of fiction writers - the Finish the Fiction contest, held by @bananafish - helping us grow, writing with us, leaving his meaningful comments (those that truly make a difference) and sustaining us through the Curie project. Yes, the point thinking about it is that Rowan is one of those rare people that care and that can make a difference and leave you always richer than before. I donnow someone that deserves the ticket more than him!

·
·

Wow... great to hear that your having your 1st steemit birthday soon. Thanks for these kind words my friend and your support for this contest, it is much appreciated. It was the 'Finish the fiction contest' which got me writing more fiction again. I'm not sure I would have been putting a short story out weekly if it wasn't for the awesome prompts that the competition provides.

Thanks again @f3nix

·

you got my vote my poor weak vote.

·
·

Thanks for your support @stever82 your vote means a lot, however small :-) It has been a pleasure to write along side you in the 'Finish the Story Contest'. I shall be back from my brief break next week and look forward to reading a new amazing beginning, it is really one of the most fun writing contest/challenges on steemit :-)

·

Not only do you give back so much in terms of projects, you offer continuous encouragement and support to so many creative people, the time and effort you put into steemit, you're a pillar of the writing community. Of course you would be a representative for the @bananafish tribe, another project you have given so much to! I sincerely hope the love you have put in comes back ten-fold and you get a ticket <3

·
·

Thank you for this recommendation @calluna

You are one of my favorite creative writers on steemit and I thank you mainly for the many excellent poems and stories that you have gifted us all with, but also for bigging me up 😉

I will indeed be talking to people about @bananafish tribe if I make it to steemfest 3 and I've just updated this comment to include what I have done with the 'finish the story' competion.

Thanks again for your support :-)

·

UwU Cześć @raj808 UwU ~ @raj808 be a good friend to @bananafish and the lovely family surrounding them, a hard-working Steemit user, a neat story writer that deserves due gravitas right there alone, a great representative of the Steemit site and a hearty kindred lad.
Now: Marsz! Marsz! Marsz! Wygraj ten bilet! (I only know so lil' Polish D^: - poor me.)

You're pretty good!

·

As they say it in the farmlands (the non-highlander informal version of you're welcome) in Poland: proshaw.

·

You definitely deserve this! You got my vote <3

·
·

Thanks @rubencress your support means a lot coming from a fellow curie curator. I appreciate it mate :-)

·

Hey man good luck! You definitely deserve this!

·
·

Thanks anomadsoul, it would make my year to make it to steemfest and put faces to all the names/handles. Cheers for the support :-)

·

You should get this one, @raj808. I appreciate all of your contributions to this platform. You deserve this one :)

·
·

Thanks @misterakpan the dude who trained and recommended me to curie! I probably wouldn't be on steemit if it weren't for you brother, as I was struggeling with the realities of minnow (minuscule) payouts when I first discovered the curie chatroom. When I was recommended it gave me a new outlet, other than writing on steemit. A new way to contribute and grow.

Your support on this comp means a lot, thanks :-)

·

Raj featured on my show when we curated one of his posts. He was so impressive I asked him back with his own segment which I left entirely up to him. He hit the ground running and did a fantastic job of bringing in literary talent to the Whaleshares Curation Show each week.

I was then happily shocked to learn that he was involved with many other projects, and that so many other people had great things to say about him.

I feel I knew Raj reasonably well now but every week I'd find out something new about him. He's multi talented and one of the best human assets Steemit has.

·
·

Thanks for your support @nikflossus, the whaleshares Monday night show was so much fun and I was sad when it ended but happy to have contributed with Literature Corner. Best of luck with all your endeavors and your plans for the new platform. I shall be checking it out soon :-)

·

You are a busy Steemian, good luck buddy!

·
·

Thanks dude. Fingers will stay crossed... not sure how long I'll be able to keep them that way ;-)

·

Raj808 was my first real connection on steemit. i credit him with my sticking around. i was not finding engagement and enter Raj with his heartfelt real comments. Kept me going... he even had me over to his place in Liverpool for New years this year.... fun raging in person. I know no more deserving person here on steemit....i hope you win this ticket Raj!!!

·
·

Thanks @buttcoins I appreciate your support. I'm always real happy when I think that I was part of you not giving up in those early days, mainly because your a diamond geezer and steemit wouldn't be the same without you, but also because your content has just blown up to the next level! You are literally my favorite vlogger to watch on steemit, that is nothing to do with our friendship, simply how good the vlogs are!

Ha ha, yeah Liverpool new years was indeed a rager.

·

You are one of the best creative writers I know in Steemit. I keep learning a lot from every fiction post you write.

You also are a very active and unselfish Steemian! Your curation and support activity is very precious, and your charity project makes you honor.

For these reasons, I think you would totally deserve the free ticket!

Good Luck, my friend! ;)

·
·

Thanks for your support @marcoriccardi it has been a pleasure to write along side you in the 'Finish the Story Contest'. I shall be back from my brief break next week and look forward to reading a new amazing beginning that I can craft my own ending for, it is really one of the most fun writing contest/challenges on steemit :-)

·

Congratulations buddy on your one year anniversary on steemit.
You deserve to get the ticket for steemfest. You've been a wonderful Steemian and I am proud to be associated with you.

Dante is here no fear

Cheers

·
·

Thanks @dante31... the first person to welcome me into the curie community in the discord room after I had been accepted as a curator, with the immortal words... 'welcome to the a-team'.

Your support on this comp means a lot, thanks :-)

·

yes! Raj is one of the most dedicated steemians that i know. i met him through @projectgiving and then found that we were in the sndbox incubator together. we also connect through @naturalmedicine and it's been fantastic getting to know him more and having some of his hard work rub off on and encourage us ;)!! he'd be a stellar selection to win the ticket/trip! a true dedicated and connected steemian.

best luck!

·
·

Thanks for your support @mountainjewel it has been a pleasure to work along side you @projectgiving and now in sndbox cohort 2. Thanks again for the introduction to @naturalmedicine, the juice fast is not going amazing, but I'm only on day 5 and still in detox mode I think. Feeling very squiffy at the moment lol :-)

·

Apart from consistently giving steemit quality content yourself, you have done a lot in promoting and discovering that quality from others. You deserve this and good luck!

·
·

Thanks @thatdamiguy these words mean a lot coming from a fellow curie curator. I appreciate your support :-)

·

I am the founder of @promo-mentors, and @raj808 has helped us enormously! Each week we had dozens of people coming for fiction workshops and @raj808 helped us a lot by attending them.

Raj's heart is in Steemit and he deserves to be in Steem Fest!

·
·

Thanks for your support @futurethinker, it means a lot. Also, thanks for teaching me a lot about steemit and discord communities in general. I consider you to be one of my mentors here on steemit.

It was mental last autumn @promo-mentors, at the market peak. I remember the poetry/fiction channel being so busy that between 10-20 people would turn up for feedback and I'd be plowing through as many poems and short stories as I could in the 2 hour workshop session, trying to do full proofreads when I should have just been giving more general advice. Lol, it was worth it seeing some writers really improve and grow their talent.

Thanks again for your comment :-)

·

Couldn't think of anyone more deserving of this opportunity than @raj808. His work on Steemit is out of this world. Hope to hear about his fantastic Steemfest adventure!!!

·
·

Thanks @cyemela I appreciate your support and kind words. For sure if I make it to steemfest I will be putting out some unique content, reporting on the conference through the creative writers looking glass. There would be some stories and poems as well as more traditional articles to document it all, maybe even a vlog or two ;-)

·

@raj808 is an important member of the community. As a founder of @isleofwrite, I saw him add value and keep people on the platform by helping excellent writers earn a curie, as well as helping edit and support poetry on the block. His comment history speaks for itself- he writes thoughtful, analytical comments on the creative work of others, really seeing the person behind the work.

I have also had the honor of watching his work with projectgiving. Raj has reached out to me and djs on the minnow support project to drum up support for projectgiving, creating an important support network on various discord servers.

Raj would be an excellent representative for the blockchain at steemfest, as he is creative and community minded.

·
·

Thanks @sunravelme. Your support is massively appreciated and also your help over the last few months in connecting me with people over at MSP to promote @projectgiving. You have always been an awesome friend to me on steemit and the best mentor/proofreader for my poetry.

What you do for the poetry community on steemit is nothing short of inspirational :-)

·

Everyone's comments (not only here but in every single interaction I have read) tell how much you have supported and encouraged this platform with your genuine efforts Raj808! Your personality, your striving on through fatigue and hardships, your creativity, your generosity and your humor that has reached so many here on Steemit. You have an open mindedness about you that listens to others and takes in each experience as a chance for growth. I hope that you win this ticket to Steemfest so that you can meet new people who can take inspiration from you and your outlook while you learn from them. (Oh, and hopefully while having a wicked good time!) Good luck to you!

·
·

Thanks @brisby I appreciate your support and kind words. If I make it to steemfest I will be trying to bring that raj808 humor and forward looking attitude ;-) Also, I will be putting out some unique content, reporting on the conference through the creative writers looking glass. There would be some stories and poems as well as more traditional articles to document it all, maybe even a vlog or two ;-)

Thanks again for the luck and well wishes

·

This guy is one of the most hardworking and selfless person ive known in the steemit community. Aside from mentoring people in the promo-mentors channel, he is also a Curie curator. He spends a lot of time in this platform, helping it to grow in popularity and at the same time encouraging authors to take their writing skills to the next level. This platform needs a lot of people like @raj808 in my opinion.

·
·

Thanks Andy. Your support is much appreciated. I remember when we were both working in promo-mentors in the early days, it was a blast helping with that first development stage of the community. Then you joined me in curie, glad to have got to know you mate :-)

Thanks again

·

I've read through the comments that have been posted so far, and see reflected in them the person I've come to know as @raj808.

Steemit is a vast community. It's easy to get lost, to feel anonymous. Early in my experience here @raj808 put an end to that impression at a critical juncture. He took note of my work when I was a fledgling blogger. He responded to comments when I was just finding my way around the platform. It never seemed to matter to him that I had little reputation or voting power.

Then, of course, I started reading his work. He is spectacularly talented, gifted with the kind of intrinsic creativity that enhances the quality of this platform. He really is the best that steemit has to offer: hard working, generous, talented. A ticket to steemfest will be good for steemit, good for him. I hope it happens.

·
·

Thank you so much for your kind words and support @agmoore. I really rate your content also and am glad I discovered your blog :-)

Hey @smooth, first and foremost I want to thank you for this initiative since I believe that it’s a massive opportunity for many Steemians to attend Steem Fest, considering how expensive the ticket might be to some, especially in the current market.

A bit about myself

My name is George, I am a young Romanian, and I’m currently studying marketing mostly because I like the financial and psychological aspect of it but, that’s such a small part of my life that it’s far from defining me.

I often find it somewhat difficult to talk about myself but, if there’s one thing that defines me the best is truth, authenticity. At first, being authentic and different was just a fun thing to do since I always enjoyed surprising people. But, over time, it became such a huge part of my personality that I think it defines me the best or, at least it represents what I’m trying to strive for, the best.

3.png

That's my face

Authenticity is a value that I picked up very early in my life thanks to a handful of brilliant mentors, and it turned out to be the thing that impacted my life the most since it feels so refreshing not to follow the fake path others try to push you on.

I’m trying to keep things as simple as possible in my personal life and don’t bother myself with too many worthless belongings and meaningless noise since I think it’s an essential thing I have to do so I can achieve the freedom I want to. Freedom and Truth is the journey I have knowingly or unknowingly taken up in the last couple of years.

There isn’t much more to say about myself, or nothing that’s available in my conscious mind at this moment but, I can surely tell you a lot more about my activity on the blockchain.

Steem and I

I joined this blockchain in mid-June 2017, mainly out of curiosity, after I stumbled upon it through youtube. I got hooked right away because everything seemed so incredible, and thankfully I met some amazing people right off the bat that pushed me on the right path. I remember that I used to spend sometimes even 10 hours a day in the first few months, only commenting on posts and chatting with people on Steem.chat or Discord. Now, I am probably spending even more than that a day sometimes but, mostly focusing on developing projects, and creating content.

There are quite a couple of things I could mention that I was part of but, I will try to stick to the most relevant ones.

  • One month and something into this whole thing, and I found out about @OCD, and I managed to somehow become part of the curation team, and stay with it since then. That experience impacted me tremendously not only because I was in a position from where I was able to help a lot of people but, also because I managed to make a couple of strong and long-lasting friendships.

But, besides all the curation I did in the last year, the hundreds of posts reviewed and curated, I am also a believer in flagging, and the freedom of users to express their disagreement on rewards through it. I think it’s an essential part of the platform but too few people are doing it.

  • Everything was going fine, and all of my efforts got rewarded far more than I ever expected to once I became part of @Sndbox in early December of 2017. Being part of the incubator not only allowed me to polish my content creating skills but, also to develop other projects with the primary goal of helping others. One of those projects was the Sndbox Summer Camp where @anomadsoul, and I mentored 30+ Steemians and helped them launch a handful of successful projects, as @projectgiving, @celfmagazine, and @steem-times.

  • I also put the basis for the Romanian Community, @SteemRomania with a couple of fellow Steemians, in order to grow and support the community. Also, later, I launched the @SteemChronicles magazine with @macchiata so the Steem community can have a printable magazine, free for anybody. But, due to exams, life in general, and other more urgent projects we postponed the magazine until last week when we started working on it again.

These are my main accomplishments from the last year and so but, it’s merely a beginning because the next year is really going to be game-changer for sure.

Free Ticket?

I am determined to attend Steem Fest because over the last year I managed to build quite a couple of strong friendships, and I think that now is the time to meet in person the people I interacted with so much.

As I said in the beginning, I live in Romania, and even if I managed to make a bit of money in the last year, 277 euros it’s still a huge price considering that it is a whole salary over here. The entire trip to Poland will probably end up costing me at least as much as two months of expenses so, a free ticket would surely make a huge difference, and be of great help.

After the things this blockchain offered me, and the people I met in the last year, I can’t see myself missing out on this edition of the festival even if I will probably end up spending over the course of a couple of days, as much as my college fee for a full year.

Again, thank you for doing this initiative, and all the best to you.

·

My Steem.Chat username is guyfawkes4.20. Thank you for this opportunity!

·

Good luck with your entry @guyfawkes4-20. Without you and anomadsoul there would have been no summer camp and I would never have found my way into sndbox. Thanks for all your help getting projectgiving up and running :-)

·
·

Thank you @raj808! You were the amazing ones actually because without the amazing engagement you provided the camp would've never been possible. Nor without the strong team, you formed, @projectgiving would've never been a reality either.

·

I found @guyfawkes4-20 in the general chat a year ago. He was brand new and looking for advice. That conversation sparked the idea for the "Be Awesome" community. He quickly found his place at steemit with Adsactly and sndbox. When he saw himself growing faster than I was he made every effort to help me catch up. He has been chosen by these initiatives because his awesome attitude and because the way he keeps looking for ways to get involved. He isn't just looking to grow on his own, he wants to bring others up with him.

He's been dreaming of going to steemfest since I first started talking to him. I am sure he will, but I hope it's an easy road to steemfest for him! He deserves it!

·
·

It was quite a ride since then, wasn't it? To be honest, looking back at everything, all I can feel is gratefulness, not only because of all these projects but probably more important because of the people I met along the way. Thank you for your words @whatamidoing, I really appreciate it!

·

While being busy working and meeting deadlines for my own job, I also wanted to have a platform to openly talk about helping others and ACTUALLY helping others. This platform is @SteemRomania, set up by a few of us (including @guyfawkes4-20) who have the knowledge means and the insight to help others.
@guyfawkes4-20 has the age, the energy and the willingness to put into this project and the determination to actually succeed.
I support his entry and I would give him the chance to participate in this event, if I were involved in the decision making.
I will not be able to attend due to my working schedule (and @SteemSTEM and @Utopian meetings) so I will have to rely on the ones I trust for this information, so allow him to engage and connect with other people so that we can launch new projects and better develop our current ones!
Good luck to everyone!

Thanks a lot for this comment @alexdory, I appreciate your words, and more importantly, your implication in @SteemRomania a lot. I'm sorry to hear that you won't be able to attend this year, it would've been quite epic to have a Romanian meetup at SteemFest. Looking forward to meeting you in person one day.

·

Guy is an amazing guy who did a lot for steem and who is one of the greates curators and collegs at @ocd.

·
·

Thank you JP, I appreciate it. Looking forward to meeting you.

·
·
·

There are 2 Tickets to win, one for you for me.

·
·
·
·

That'd be a fun turn of events for sure.

·

Good luck dude!
I personally applaud his dedication and contribution towards every projects he's contributing. He deserves a chance to be at steemfest3 where he could expand his visions and hopefully able to contribute more on steemit!

·
·

Thank you @macchiata! I'm sorry you can't attend this year, it would've been quite an event. Looking forward to meeting you at SF4, you have to join that one. :)

·

Full support behind @guyfawkes4-20. He's an invaluable Steward in the @sndbox community and leads many initiatives that help out both newbie onboarding and project development. His presence is needed at Steemfest 3.0!

·
·

Thank you @hansikhouse, I appreciate the words! Looking forward to meeting you and Kirk at the fest. You guys have to hold a "Blockchain and Bourbon" from over there with the Sndbox members present but, with more accent on bourbon. :)

·

@smooth,

@guyfawkes4-20 was one of the first people to offer to help me get the Steem Poker League off the ground. If not for school and his age at the time, he would probably be a part of our main team today. I have always enjoyed his company and outlook on life. Just a great all around guy!

·
·

Indeed, if not for that hectic schedule I had, I would've been more involved in SPL for sure. But, it's not too late now either, especially with the latest league developments.

Thank you, Tuck.

·

Good luck! He have helped so many people on steemit curating under valued post via ocd. Looking forward to meeting you and ocd crew at Steemfest!

·
·

Thank you! Looking forward to meeting you as well! We need some OCD swag for the fest, Acid has to sponsor it, lol.

·
·
·

Hahah yah we should get him to do it for us 😂😂

·
·
·
·

Yes, let's do it, lol. :))

I'm really thinking about getting some t-shirts with the projects I am involved in but, not sure how suitable are the t-shirts for November, in Poland. It's not going to be less than 0°C but, that's no t-shirt weather for sure.

·

Hope you win it... ! Good luck!

·

I do hope you will get there to be able to say Bine ai venit ;)

·
·

Hehe, I'll get there, I'm not missing out on this one. :D

Hi, Smooth. Thank you for hosting this contest. It’s a great chance not only for people to go to Steemfest, but for positive and productive interaction in the community.

I’m co-founder of @thewritersblock alongside @GMuxx. It’s the largest and most active Steem-centric professional writing community on Discord. We focus on the creative aspect of writing more than the technical, but we involve writers of all skill levels as long as they’re serious about their craft.

In just over a week, I’ll be in Toronto alongside GMuxx and our IT project coordinator @jasonbu to participate in the Steem Creatives Conference and SMT Summit. There, we’ll launch our new front-end site for the blockchain that’s specifically designed to spotlight high quality written content. This is important, because our target audience is not just the internal crypto community, but mainstream consumers as well. We have a plan to implement our SMT in a highly utilitarian fashion that will introduce digital currency in an easy to understand, easy to use manner, and therefore position ourselves to onboard a whole new demographic of blockchain users.

Core leadership at The Writers’ Block has maintained since the group’s inception that the Steem blockchain is a brilliant new opportunity for publishing. Many of our members have real-world experience in that industry and a strong motivation to usher in the next evolution of digital publishing. In November, we intend to launch Steemhouse Publishing, an LLC already incorporated in the U.S. with the primary focus of marketing novel-length fiction directly to mainstream reading audiences. In other words, we’ll publish books and sell them for FIAT, which we’ll then exchange for Steem and use that to reward authors and compensate staff. We’ll also use a Steem wallet to accrue assets, which means we’ll be investors as well as content creators, and a solid example of how the Steem blockchain can be used in real-world business applications.

In addition to all of this, I’m one-fourth of the @noblewitness team, which is currently ranked 66, 63 active. All four of us bring different ranges of talent and experience to the table, so everything from tech to PR is covered. We believe content is king and is ultimately the driving force that will bring investors to the blockchain and keep users from defecting. As far as technical specs, we run Dual Xeon L5630 8 Core Processor (16 HT Cores) with 96 GB DDR3 of physical RAM, a 300 GB SSD System Drive and 2TB Data Drive. Backup server is a duplicate mirror of the main system. Failover is scripted and software switched.

In my home state of Virginia, I’m the Director of a 501c3 animal charity. @tarc is an all-consuming endeavor and, while successful in a practical sense, is a huge financial black hole for me. These animals must eat and receive care whether or not our donors and sponsors come through for us in a given month. Needless to say, I don’t have abundant financial resources to afford things like international travel and Steemfest tickets. I do believe our project has enough backers to help me somewhat with travel expenses, but everything I can do to pull my own weight is necessary—even writing a book-length comment to try and win a ticket. Just having that part of the trip covered would be a tremendous help.

When it comes to Steem, I’m all-in—I’m giving the blockchain everything I have in fervent hopes that we all make history together. My wheelhouse is writing and publishing, so it makes sense that this is the area I’m trying to sew up for us. I want to present these ideas at Steemfest and network with the people who can benefit this project, as well as the people this project can benefit. I think it’s a worthwhile effort, and I want to be there in Krakow to talk about it.

Thank you!

·

Put simply: @rhondak is one of our pioneers. Not only has she gone all-in on Steemit, she's used Steem to compensate a woman who helps out at her shelter, and she's been pushing for a publishing house based on the blockchain for months. She's dedicated to this blockchain far beyond content creation or development work. She's actively seeking to incorporate an area that she has tremendous experience in, thereby opening up the Steem blockchain to utilization by a totally unserved group. This is ambitious, and I'm honored and thrilled to be able to be a part of this.

She's leading the charge to revolutionize book printing, and she's featuring Steem front and center in that effort. She definitely deserves to be at Steemfest.

·
·

Andrei, this is humbling. Thank you so much for these words--I treasure them.

·

The future of the blockchain is here. Helping to get @Rhondak to Steemfest is part of making that future happen. We'll be pushing it forward in Toronto and carrying it through to Krakow... and into the future. Times are exciting.

·
·

Jason, thank you so much for this! I do think Muxxy and I really need to be there, and you, too, if you can make it. Long way to travel. But we have some big things happening that folks need to know about.

·

Ooh! Pick @rhondak! Pick Rhonda! She is an uber contributor to Steemit, and does an enormous amount to help build community. She has such exciting things cooking. It's going to be truly awesome. She absolutely must attend Steemfest, and many of us who see all that she does for the community, and the time and resources she puts into her work at TARC would love to see her get the support of a free ticket. It would definitely ease some of the challenges for her.

·
·

Ooooh, Jayna, thank you. I'm kinda counting on you being at Steemfest, too...I hope you can make it. You've been part of this whole concept from the beginning, and rock solid. You belong on the announcement team and it just wouldn't seem right without you there. Much love to you!

·
·
·

Thank you, dear! I would love to go, if it's in the cards. I will check out the opportunities for winning tickets. Love and hugs back to you!

·

Rhonda is a super encouraging person that inspires me and motivates me to be a better writer. She’s passionate about the future of this platform and she’s would be a very worthy recipient of a ticket!

·
·

Thank you so much for this. I'm so glad we ran that contest and got you involved with the Block. Now you're part of this future we're trying to bring about. :-)

·
·
·

Yeah now you’re stuck with me 😝

Glad you did too!

·

@rhondak needs to be at Steemfest. Her and @gmuxx should both be at Steemfest and presenting what they are doing as an example of what can be done on the STEEM blockchain. Couldn't have a more passionate advocate for the blockchain and bringing investors, users and entrepreneurs to it.

·
·

Shadows, thank you a hundred times over for speaking up here. Your unfailing support means the world to me. I promise that, one way or the other, I'm going to find a way to make this work out for all of us. :-)

·

Hoping to see @rhondak's vision come to fruition so I definitely support her entry here!

·
·

I love that you're part of what we have happening these days. Your writing represents the true talent found on the blockchain, and I fully intend for us to help you realize every goal you have for it. :-)

·

I'll put my 2 cents on and say it's worth it just so you can get one of her hugs!

·
·

Haaahaha! Engine, you crack me up! Thank you so much for your support here. I promise I will do The Alliance proud at Steemfest, however I manage to get there. :-)

·

I think @rhondak totally deserves to go to Steemfest, tireless work with the Writers Block, the @noblewitness team and @tarc and I am sure she would bring a great deal to the event by being there in person.
