Atheists are under attack in many places. If they were Christians, their voices would be heard. If they were Jews, their voices would be heard. If they were Muslims, their voices would be heard. But they are atheists, and not many seem to be listening. Let’s make it difficult for them to ignore us. We have built a global community, and now we are tearing down geographic, cultural and language barriers so we can find each other and support each other. In the last decade, we have built the largest atheist community in the world. Now we’re doing the same in other languages. With your help, we have started Atheist Republic in Persian and Arabic. As we grow, we can dedicate more time, staff and resources to start doing the same in Spanish, Portuguese, Malay, Bengali, Urdu, Hindi and other languages. We are providing community, support, informative content and amplifying the voices of those who need protection especially in countries where people feel isolated simply for their lack of belief. We want to be there for them, and we are only getting started. Help us get there.

You guys are awesome! Never give up. I feel a bit privileged at times because I can openly be an atheist where I live. When I tell people I'm an atheist, the worst that can happen is a few condescending remark thrown at me. It's sad that in some countries people have no choice but to be religious or face abuse or death. Everyone should have the right to leave religion if they choose so.

·

Thank you for supporting our cause @dezly.macauley 😀👍

Nice idea, I´m new in Steemit and finding this is great; I´m not an atheist properly speaking, I´m Agnostic as a matter of fact, many people could think that is the same thing, but there are some differences in the two concepts; both deny the existence of God as main idea, but atheist has a strong feeling about that statement, agnostics on the other side don´t believe in God because they haven´t seen any realistic proof of it´s existence, but we aren´t closed to any idea of the God concept.
But anyway, we suffer the same attacks from the religious people, they judge you like you were comitting a crime just because we think different, it´s not fair, and prove me that the wisedom and intelligence is in our side.
I dont know if I could write here in spanish to, as a Venezuelan citicen, spanish will ease my capability to express my ideas, but I can do it enoughly well in english I think

·

Thank you for sharing your experiences @losulbaran 🙂✌️

·

Christians are persecuted way more than others.

While I am a Christian, I fully support people having the freedom to choose their religion or leave it completely and not be persecuted for their choice. So you have my respect for the fact that you are fighting for what you believe in, regardless of the potential consequences, that is brave in my book. Just thought I'd leave this comment to let you know I support you in your fight.

·

Thank you @paulmp 🙂✌️

I had no idea about the depth of work you’re doing here. It’s astounding that people are coming out of religion and speaking out.
That’s incredibly brave, considering the consequences in most areas.
Powerful work is being done here.

·

Thank you for noticing us @ashtv 🙂✌️

A good plan would be to follow, interact with, and vote for other steemers of similar interest, @atheistrepublic. The tag of "infowars" would be a good one for you to both use and search.

·

Ah okay.. thank you @fitinfun 😊👍

·

Thank you @lordbutterfly.

We intend to fully use the delegation from @theycallmedan and have already moved in full gear to upload our daily content.

Let us know if you have any feedback related to the videos we posted 😊

·
·

Will do. Been kind of out of the loop the last few years ever since neofeminism and social justice infiltrated the movement. Looking forward to some news.

Are Harris and Dawkins still in the spotlight, or did new folks pop up?

Our daily videos cover religious news but we also analyze the news (live), and decide whether to support or reject the public consensus while discussing it as a group.

If you have time, check it out and you'll see what I mean 😊

I haven't checked who is specifically in the spotlight but I am just one person. @atheistrepublic has a worldwide group of volunteers and some permanent staff members too, so I am sure many of our other members have an opinion about that.

Im agnostic but you guys do you and deserve more room to speak.

Atheist persecution is way to common, following you

·

Atheists are the ignorant, rotten fish that denied the existence of water that kept it alive all time. Why ???

See the hate and anger seeping from the atheists? All of them pile up underneath my comment, you just need to wait for few minutes.
These so called atheists, why they need to go to holy places and retaliate ??? I mean you are imposing ATHEISM on other, you are the one on extreme side.

This will Makes you think.

·

You might want to research a bit about Psychological Projection @digi.kode and consider that the comment I am replying to, just might be seeping with hate and anger.

Anyways, if you seriously feel like atheists are ignorant, rotten fish that denied the existence of water that kept them alive, feel free to share those ideas with the higher-ups in @atheistrepublic so that it can possibly be broadcast more widely.

P.S. Feel free to also leave a shoutout to @steemit or @threespeak at the end of your voicemail.

Dear @AtheistRepublic,

By any means my intention was not to hurt your feelings, I am old man, not very old but old enough to test before I start following someone. I wanted to check, how you react to the comment I made, it was just collection of words threw at you, Remove the first word Atheist and replace it with Religion Name, then the rest of the world would get mad at me. To make you believe, I was just testing, let me apologies to you, because those were not the kind words.

Many a times in my life I met people claiming to be Atheist and secretly God fearing and idol worshiping. I always wondered why these duality in mental principles??? Took me long time to find answer, the answer was, God is just imagination and manifestation of our fear. I wish you the great success. Soon you shall see me in video I upload on 3speak.online. Welcome to the 3speak.online

let me apologies to you, because those were not the kind words.

It's okay @digi.kode.. I shed my thin skin a long time ago 😊

It seems atheist is becoming new religion..

If you have a theory about that, why not leave us a voicemail?

even if you think god does not exist, you should act as if he does.

How do you prevent an atheistic society from drifting into nihilism and despair?

Edit: Persecution of Christians is not really highltened in the Western World (Minute 0:30)

·

even if you think god does not exist, you should act as if he does.

I think it depends on which God you are referring to, and which words attributed to him (or her, it) you are referring to.

People do a lot of silly things, including terrorist acts because they are acting as if their version of God exists.

People do a lot of silly things, including terrorist acts because they are acting as if their version of God exists.

So Atheist don't do terrorism?

·
·
·

If atheists do silly things it is based on silly beliefs, and the most common religious ideas are actually silly.

You can view our memes if you want to see how silly they are, or you can watch our videos for a more in-depth analysis of religious news and ideas.

Religion is the Cloak for the mentally feeble and spineless vagabonds, that are into their most Gross existence. The moment someone touches the religious scriptures, without any through in mind for they pickup that scripture. very few benevolent know the secrets of the Gods. The secret is "You are not a Book". Your collection of karma puts all of us at places where we are now. The most important for human being is to respect everyone and everything around him/her, because the soul asked for those things and universe delivered it with great respect.

Instead of gaining the attention of outside world, you all need to so full of light that none can ever ignore you. Noise or shout can attract other but not for long. Light instead is the ultimate source that no-on can ever ignore. The nameless, about whom we know nothing is neither a God nor an evil. That nameless is just Pure light, our source of existence.

·

Religion is the Cloak for the mentally feeble and spineless vagabonds, that are into their most Gross existence.

The most important for human being is to respect everyone and everything around him/her, - reconcile?

No, you can't. All oyu do is show a great deal of lack of respect for others, that see things differently.

Ignorance and stupid are not the same - but hypocrisy is found in both of them...
To out argue yourself in the same comment is.....errrr.......(I leave it for you to work out)

·
·

Read it all over again, this time read slowly. You seem to be in too much of rush to reply. Respect and lack of respect is for those who are bother about it, every human being is beyond this. Absence of desire will lead to beautiful life. We all must develop the ability to see everyone and everything connected. Religions are born everyday, it is the host for someone who don't see inside, someone for whom its holy scripture without any knowledge for what it was written. We all are busy in admiration of creation, but the benevolent will always admire the creator.

·
·
·

Not in a rush - just reading your own words - and they are ones that are judgmental of others.

Respect and lack of respect is for those who are bother about it, every human being is beyond this

Says who? Not me. respect is the foundation for everything.

Absence of desire will lead to beautiful life.

...this has nothing to do with respect. If you don't stick to the point, then it indicates a lack of clarity, and evasiveness.

Evasiveness - the desire to be un-seen .

·
·
·
·

Thank for this "Evasiveness", I learned a new word today. Stay Blessed.

·
·
·
·
·

Feel free to engage the comment section of our latest video 🙂✌️

·

Does that mean we should mock them, because they are so feeble?

·
·

Definitely not, we must not waste our energy in mocking other, this will only create more ignorance and hate. Do not get distracted by people views about you, what they think is none of our business. My comment was to see if community "atheistrepublic" is active or not. Religious debates is all about "Who is great ??, I never get into those kind of things. I am here to learn and gain experience from others.

·
·
·

I find mocking people can enlighten some people to their own stupidity. A mercy mock. lol

·
·
·
·

I do not disagree.

·
·
·
·
·

Good work engaging people in the comment section @joeyarnoldvn.

You are free to discuss, critique or criticize any of the ideas you disagree with 👍

·
·
·
·

hahahaha .. This was Good.

·
·
·
·
·

lol - cool.

·
·
·

What do you think about @stefan.molyneux?

Lol. She took that photo in front of the Ka'abah. I think it's the language barrier that saved her. If she had written "Atheist Republic" on that paper in Arabic. Her case would have been a sorry case.😂😂.

Keep the videos coming.

With the different language involve hope their would be love for each other at the end
