Hello fellow Steemians!
It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - South American Saturday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. I encourage you to check the entries as they really were all stunning.
You can see all entries and participants in this post: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - South American Saturday week #108 - the absolute winner takes 200 Steem!
Please give a huge shout out to the best ten competitors for taking part in the challenge and sharing their photos and experience with all of us here on Steemit:
It would be great if you can visit their blogs and appreciate their awesome photography skills with some upvotes.
However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @benavides54 with the following entry:
Golden Hour from the magnificent Cerro el Morro in the coastal area of the Anzoátegui state, in Venezuela. It is located exactly in the city of Lecherias. I think I definitely love the golden hour and from this point it can be seen in all its fullness. This for me is a beautiful gift from the creator for not being able to arrive in time for the sunset.
What a great contribution from @benavides54 to the photo challenge! It is my pleasure to upvote one of @benavides54 recent posts. @benavides54 amazing entry from Venezuela is qualifying for the weekly challenge where it will be competing against the previous and upcoming winners of the week:
@paulmp Asian Sunday entry:
Sunset over the beautiful city of Singapore. I only had 10 hours in Singapore but managed to be there for sunset, this is a photo I've had in my head for many years.
@paulmp Australian Monday entry:
Karijini National Park is an incredible area of hidden gorges and waterfalls in the middle of the Western Australian desert. Reaching the swimming holes is quite literally coming across an oasis in the desert.
@liltammy Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
Beautiful male iguana chilling on a cliff with the turquoise Caribbean Sea in the background on the Mexican island of Isla Mujeres. Located just a short ferry ride from Cancun, the island offers wonderful beaches and some stunning landscapes too.
@vcclothing African Wednesday entry:
Fish River Canyon in Namibia is Africa's largest canyon. The way this canyon winds its way through the desert sure is a sight to see. Just don't get to close to the edge.
@sinochip European Thursday entry:
San Gimiagno is probably my favourite town during my Tuscany trip a few years ago. The town is famous for its towers, a sign of wealth in the old day. The wealthier you are, the taller a tower you will build.
@irvinesimages North American Friday entry:
Grandest Canyon. It's taken the Colorado River and other forces in nature about 6 million years to carve out the Grand Canyon. The narrowest point in the canyon is 1798 feet and the widest is 18 miles with a maximum depth of just over 6000 feet. My son and I made it to the North Rim just in time to get off a couple of shots at sunset. Grand Canyon, Arizona USA.
The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of this post and then entered to a monthly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 200 Steem in total. You can give @benavides54 your support by upvoting this winner announcement post.
My next challenge is coming shortly: Asian Sunday. Get your pictures ready! :)
