The panel of judges led by I Wayan Kawisada imprisoned for two years and six months (2.5 years) for the defendants Ni Wayan Arini (48) and Ni Wayan Rusi Purnama Dewi (31).

The sentence handed down by the panel of judges is the same as the claim filed by the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

Both were convicted because they were desperate to apply for credit using fake documents.

Responding to the verdict, Arini who is the Civil Servants (PNS) of Denpasar City Asset Management Section, and Purnama Dewi honorary employees at the Denpasar City DPRD Secretariat through their legal counsel stated their thoughts.

"Thank you, Your Honor. After coordinating with the defendants, we thought about it," said Nyoman Yudara.

Also, the Public Prosecutor (Prosecutor) Suasti Ariani represented Prosecutor Martinus saying the same thing.

The panel of judges themselves in the verdict agreed with the indictment and prosecutor's demands.

Therefore, the defendants were declared to have been legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a crime together to falsify, as the first indictment.

The two defendants were charged under Article 263 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

"Judge, imprison each of the defendants for two years and six months (2.5 years), reduced as long as the defendants are in detention," said the Chief Judge, I Wayan Kawisada.

Also, in the ruling the panel of judges firstly parses aggravating and mitigating matters as a consideration.

It is burdensome, the actions of the defendants unsettled the public.

It alleviates, both are polite, have never been punished and regret their actions.

"The defendants have returned the loss of the victim's witness while detained at USD 35,560 " Chief Justice I Wayan Kawisada said.

As stated in the indictment, the actions of the two defendants resulted in the Asta Sedana Cooperative addressing the Cepaka Neighborhood, Kapal Village, Mengwi District, Badung having suffered a loss of USD 44,286.
