The voice of the voiceless

2개월 전

@Yeonmi Park:
Wearing a red dress that I love and walking in this sea of lights, I feel like that I lived at least a thousand years long.
All my childhood I was dealing with starvation and survival, and never even have guessed this kind of beautiful world existed.
Here I am as a grown-up 27 years old woman, I don't even know how this all possible in just one lifetime.

At this very moment when I am mesmerized by the freedom and prosperity that capitalism/democracy brought, 25 million of my people desperately looking for a next meal. Moreover, North Korean women just like me are being sold and raped like pigs in China.

Knowing all shades of life and the layers of darkness, it is hard to focus on the bright side sometimes.
However, the only way we can move forward is not to lose hope and continue to do the right thing.
Thank you for helping me to free my people and giving me a voice in this world ♥️ @ New York, New York

@Gina Fraser:You are such a brave but kindhearted soul. I am touched by your words: Knowing all shades of life and the layers of darkness, it is hard to focus on the bright side sometimes.

It is true. I feel so sorry to know your experience in China, since I am just from China. 我是个中国人.
Although I only read of a few passages of your book, I really love reading it too much. It seems that I am reading my own life experience. I notice that there are a lot of similiarties beteeen China and North Korea. We people both live in a kind of country where the information is blocked by the government on purpose. We are fooled and threatened to death. We have no way to know the outside world and the outside world has no way to know our inside life.

Thank you for sharing your story to the world, telling the truth and being the voice of the voiceless!
