Proposal Description

BMI Calculator has a very good function, you can calculate your Body Mass Index based on your weight and height. In terms of function, indeed this application has a very good function. I really appreciate the developer of this project.

On the one hand, I was very impressed with this application which looks very simple and light. But I think, the BMI Calculator application still needs to be developed again to make this application more attractive. There are so many other similar applications that have the same function, I think developers don't just rely on functionality, but also have to think about the user experience.

Therefore, I want to suggest some features for the BMI Calculator. I hope my advice can be an additional idea for developers to make the BMI Calculator application more attractive.

1. Complementary Features in BMI

Before I suggest other additional features, I would like to suggest a complementary feature on the main page of BMI features. Calculation on BMI Calculator only weight and height, this is actually very simple. I want to suggest that the calculation of BMI in this application so that more details, such as the addition of Age and also gender.

In addition to Age and Gender, there are several other supporting features that I would like to suggest that be added to the BMI Calculator page :

Difference
Here will show the difference in body weight that should match the ideal weight. You will see the total body weight you have to reduce or add.

Score Classification
This will display the category classification according to your BMI score. You can see various classifications that match the score displayed from the BMI Calculator.

Ideal weight
This will display ideal body weight according to your height, age, and gender.

2. BTP (Body Fat Percentage)

This is the second feature I want to recommend for the BMI Calculator. This is a feature related to BMI. With the BTP (Body Fat Percentage) feature, users can calculate the fat percentage on the body from Age calculations, Gender, Height, Waist, Neck, and Hip.

3. WtHR (Waist-to-Height Ratio)

This is also a feature that is quite unique and very useful if added to the BMI Calculator. This is related to the calculation of BMI. WtHR (Waist-to-Height Ratio) functions to calculate the waist ratio. How it works, your waist circumference is divided by height. And also aided by calculating Age and Gender. And You will see if your waist circumference matches your height. Not only that, but you can also see the Ideal value for age and Ideal waist in CM.

For the location of BTP (Body Fat Percentage) and WtHR (Waist-to-Height Ratio) features, I suggest that it be placed in the application header to make it more strategic and easily accessible.

Benefits

The benefits of the features above are as follows:
1. Complementary Features in BMI
With the addition of several complementary features in BMI calculations such as Age, Gender, Difference, Score Classification, and ideal weight, of course this will make it more detailed and interesting. Users not only get BMI score results, but users can also see a more detailed classification of scores and also users can see the difference in their body weight with the ideal body weight.

2. BTP (Body Fat Percentage)
BTP (Body Fat Percentage) is useful for calculating the percentage of fat in the body. When using the BMI Calculator, users can not only calculate BMI, but users can also calculate the percentage of fat in their body.

3. WtHR (Waist-to-Height Ratio)
With this feature, users can calculate waist circumference through the WtHR score (Waist-to-Height Ratio). Users can find out if their height is ideal with their waist circumference. In addition, users can also see what their waist circumference scores are in what category. And the great thing is, this feature will display Ideal value for age and Ideal waist in CM.

Conclusion

To implement the features above, developers may need to make major improvements. And in my opinion, it doesn't matter because it will have a good effect later.

The features that I recommend are certainly very useful for users and developers because will improve user experience later. And this will add value to the BMI Calculator Application. And I hope, the BMI Calculator Application developer will soon be able to implement this suggestion.

Thank You :)
