MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Britain, the USA and the Soviet Union cooperated to defeat the Nazis.

  2. Can Britain and the EU coexist on the same continent without going to war?

  3. The increase in CO2 in the atmosphere is correlated with the industrial revolution.

  4. Ecosystems can collapse very suddenly due to minor changes in the environment.

  5. Lots of businesses now use twitter to communicate with their customers.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Copilot
    The copilot was the first to spot the enemy plane, now the whole crew had to quickly prepare for a gun battle.
  2. Cooperate
    The corrupt officer urged us to cooperate with him so he could cut us a shear out of the stollen money, but we all refused.
  3. Colleague
    I prefer to work with my colleagues at school in preparation for the competition, rather than some strangers.
  4. Collapse
    It's a pity the building collapsed due to poor supervision and the use of substandard building materials, the engineers would be held accountable for this.
  5. Communicate
    Its really difficult to get across Jane on phone, am finding it hard to communicate properly due to the stormy weather.

  1. The two politicians from opposing parties decided to cooperate with each other on Brexit.

  2. He was glad to find a job where he got on well with his colleagues.

  3. There is a correlation between the increase in abortions and the decrease in crime according to Freakonomics.

  4. The Twin Towers collapsed when the steel rods holding them up melted in the inferno.

  5. The best politicians are able to communicate complex thoughts in simple language.

I've heard that fires fuelled by jet fuel cannot melt steel girders!! If that's so, then what really happened to those towers?

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. I never thought of any copilot ever since I traveled by plane for many times already.
  2. I need to cooperate with the government authority or else I'll be in jail.
  3. I had a colleague that was bigger than me but had less authority than me.
  4. I never experience being collapsed and wanted to experience it.
  5. I oftentimes use Facebook Messenger to communicate to my far away friends.

I used to use FB Messenger to communicate with the world, but then I realized that I did not want the world (or Mark Z) to know everything about my all communications.

That's right for security reasons especially you have much money.
For me, they can take my 177 SP if they want to that's all I have lol

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  3. The group of scientists shared information and knowledge as they were colleagues not competitors.

  4. The chair collapsed under the weight of the fat man.

  5. Business managers are now assessed on their communication skills more than on their ability to deliver a profit.

  1. I only imagine how distracting it would be for a male chief pilot to fly a plane with a gorgeous female copilot.
  2. The team need to cooperate if they intend to win this match.
  3. I once had a colleague who slept on the office premises.
  4. Collapse is inevitable when you hire an inexperience engine to build an edifice.
  5. The key to a successful relationship is communication.
